shampoo hat

As the child is seen wearing this hat there is one way in which it needs to be worn.

The top picture shows the correct way to wear it.

The bottom picture is incorrect this is because the edge of the cap needs to be turned inside and not shown when wearing.

shower cap

The cap needs to be wore at an angle as show in the picture this is so that it is easier to wash the child’s hair and so that no water gets into the child’s eyes at any point.

Wearing Tips 2

The baby shower cap is soft and smooth to touch, lightweight and skin-friendly to wear.

Adjust to the size of the baby's head.

Close to the baby's head.

Wear a low point to the neck as far back as possible so that the high and low do not fall and leak.

Head size: 15-24 inches / 38-60cm.

shower cap for kids
  • SIze: 5.9 * 5.1 inches
  • Head circumference: 14.8-24 inches

Tips: Please measure your baby's head circumference before purchasing; it fits head circumferences of 14.8-24 inches (adjustable) for babies older than 6 months.

Gently fit the inside of the shower cap to the baby's brow, and choose a button that is the right size; it will not leak if it is tight.

Wear the low point to the neck as far back as possible so that the high and low do not fall and leak.

It is critical that all of your child's hair passes through the band. This allows the hair to be washed without being cinched under the elastic band.

  • Adjust the straps as much as necessary to achieve the ideal fit.

I use these on all of my kids five year old, three year old and one year old. They have constant ear infections, so eliminating water from getting in their ears as a big thing and also they hate getting soap in their eyes when washing hair. Having three girls meet us really hard and this product to meet it really easy to wash hair. It is a little hard to buckle behind their head if they have longer hair, so I usually just put it up in a soapy bun at the top. It can be a little challenging, but it is so worth it and it fits all of their sizes without having to adjust the buckle.

We've had this for a long time but haven't really used it that much. At first I had a hard time getting it to fit. I thought the edge (on this forehead) was supposed to point backwards and then the crown would curve forward and up. Trying to get it onto my son was always a horrible struggle and it was pretty much always falling off. Eventually I realized you can have the edge pointing forward/down, towards the eyes, so I tightened it a lot more. It's now way easier to put on and it stays put. There's no more wrestling match of trying to keep it in place.Without this I hate rinsing my son's hair. No matter how much I try to stop him, he looks in all the wrong directions so that soap and water are always in his face. Now that I can slap his crown on and it stays put, I can just dump a few pitchers of water on his head, while he goes about his business, looking wherever he wants, and nothing gets in his face. He still tells me he doesn't want me to put it on him, but hopefully as he gets more and more used to how easily it works now and how nice it is not to feel waterboarded, he'll learn to accept it. Really, he loves to play dress up, so I've got my fingers crossed that someday he might even look forward to putting it on.

I wanted to love this but it’s just not working well on my toddler who hates getting water in his face. It has to fit perfect all around or some water will find its way through. That’s caused him to push it up and any movement will break the seal. I’d probably go with the flat kind over this crown shape.

Bought this on a recommendation from another grandma for my 3 year old granddaughter who hated getting water in her eyes while washing her hair. She wore it one time, said it pulled her hair and her mom said it was difficult to put on. Would not buy another one.

Took about a week or two for the kiddo to get used to it. It has become a favorite "toy" to wear for bath time, and even better, it actually works fairly well. If the kiddo looks down too much, water will overflow towards the front/face though. We're happy with it as bath time is less of a chore with this crown.

My daughter would not put her head back to avoid water in her eyes no matter what we did or said and it was always a big fight. The first time I put the crown on she wasn’t very happy about it, but as soon as I poured water on her head and it didn’t go in her eyes she started laughing! Now, she’s excited to put the crown on at each bath time and no more tears!

My daughter had an ear infection and the doctor said to keep water out of her ear. She hates any hats so didn't like it at first and still tries to take it off but once I distract her she doesn't seem to remember it's there.

Ufeful but very difficult to use. Great for getting toddler to wash hair and eliminate fear of soap in eyes. Please note you need at least 3 hands to keep hair out of the way and secure the very fiddly clip. Most of us have two or one hand/s.
