I ordered this for my son for Christmas. I go to set it up to have it under the tree on Christmas morning and the wires are snapped? I fix the wires and go to put the hi-hats in and the connection parts on the wires don’t even match! Wasted $40 and my son lost a Christmas present, don’t waste your money.

The full description of this cute drum set says it’s appropriate for several different age ranges, so put together, they claim it’s for 0+ months. The physical box says 3+. Obviously, it’s not for newborns, but we gave this set to our son when he was 7 months old and he started drumming away. It’s super cute, fun, he loves banging on it.Now my son is 9 months. He loves putting the drum sticks in his mouth and chewing on the foam tips. He bit the tip clean off and gagged hard enough he threw up. Thankfully, I had instructed my older kids to only let him play with the toy while they’re watching closely so they were quickly able to get the foam tip out, though it was a bit difficult due to the size.That being said, we ripped the other tip off and he can play with it but still under supervision due to the long microphone cord. He loves it and it’s not overly annoying. Just be cautious!

My one year old loved this for Christmas. The only thing is the two yellow parts can come out kinda easily but overall we loved it.

The assembly was much easier than I expected. The performance is surprisingly great it's definitely worth the money. It's small enough for my son and it's a great start to learn how to use instruments.
