We loved having this to ease our minds as I breastfeed my baby! I wanted to make sure that she was getting enough and this definitely put our minds at ease!

I have two food scales and I tested this for accuracy with a large bag of rice and the weight registers within a few ounces of my other scales. In the box is a two-piece long tray, the scale, and an instruction sheet. Two AAA batteries are included. Also included is a pocket tape measure. This scale can be used for animals, babies, and as a food scale.Connecting the intersecting pieces of the tray is cumbersome. However, once the hooks are connected in the groove of the scale, everything is secure. The tray has a measuring tape on it to get a baby's or pet's size. This scale is accurate with a miniscule margin of error. Note that the reading will NEVER be spot on unless there is absolutely no movement from a pet or baby. There is a TARE button to zero out the scale in case a container is used and I only want to weigh what's inside the container. There are also three units of measurement - kilogram, pounds, and ounces. In summary, I think this is a very good scale that is simple to operate and has all the features needed to weigh a small pet, baby, or food (even though it was not advertised as a food scale). Apparently (per the Amazon site) it has a weight range of 50g (1.764 ounces) to 100kg (220.46 pounds) and measures up to two feet long. I do not understand the measurement scale on the tray. It goes up to 60 centimeters, which is almost two feet long. The current price of $39.98 is on the high side of competitively priced for this.

For breastfeeding moms this can save you some trips to the doctor as you can keep track of if your baby has lost weight.A plus with this is that you can take off the baby weighing section and use it as a regular scale once baby outgrows it.The measurements are in centimeters, which does not bother me one bit as those are the units we all should be using. You can display weight in English or Metric (lbs or kg or oz) units. If your baby/pet/child does not sit still you will see some small variation in the weight, this is simply physics because the scale is not measuring your mass (which stays constant) but your weight which is your mass multiplied by your acceleration. If you are moving, that apparent weight changes a bit.I checked this several calibrated weights and it was within 1 percent error up to 20lbs.

Baby weight scales are nothing new, but many have an inflated view of their value.I’ve seen some go well over $100 and do nothing much more than approximate a weight for your child and, once they grow, the scale is just about worthless. This one is somewhat unique in that it comes with “wings†that click into the main panel to elongate the whole structure (in essence, a bowl to cradle your baby). As your baby grows and is able to stand, the wings can be removed and this converts into a standard weight scale. But there is a curious aspect to this all. The scale can measure in pounds, but the baby length measurement is in metric. To make up for it, I guess, you receive a tape measure in inches. As for accuracy in weight or measurement, this can never really be exact. Why? Unless your baby is still and asleep, they will move. You’ll get an approximate weight and length but at least you will have a ballpark figure.I tested mine using a 5 pound bag of unopened rice. My standard scale showed I got clipped by a few ounces. This one showed about the same, maybe an ounce less than the other.Price wise, this unit is slightly lower in price than the average, which is often closer to $50 for a base unit and pegging around $100 for all the bells and whistles. For this price, you really can’t lose.

What a big loss, the device looks good, easy to put together, but it’s not accurate at all! It’s change reading.

This scale has a wide basin for placing your baby or other weighable things. The basin comes in two pieces that lock together when placed inside of the scale. They don’t lock together tight, mostly for convenience. But they won’t fall apart when inserted into the scale slot. I would suggest adding a blanket and doing a tare before weighing your baby.✅ Once your child has grown, the scale can be used for standing weights up to 220 lbs. We tested 190lbs and it was accurate to 0.1lbs.
