Having spent many late nights and long hours in an inexpensive and rigid wooden glider with our first son, I promised myself that I would treat myself to a top-of-the-line nursery chair if we had another child. I was nervous about purchasing an $800 recliner without being able to see it in person, but so far (two weeks in) I’m very happy with this purchase decision!The package was extremely heavy, as is the chair - it’s not easy to move around. This being said, once we opened the package we found the chair was in two simple parts and it was incredibly easy to put together.Both the gliding and reclining function are smooth, effortless, and quiet. The recline is significant - it doesn’t lay totally flat but it reclines enough that it would be easy to sleep in. I also love the lumbar pillow and suspect that it will end up being a godsend.I was most impressed with the fabric of this chair. While part of this chair’s appeal for me was that it is made in part of recycled plastic bottles and recycled yarn, I was also concerned this might lend itself to a less comfortable fabric. This is not at all the case - this chair is SUPER soft and comfortable.I was also worried about how much space this chair would take and was surprised at how compact it really is - even reclined. This is a positive thing for me, but the narrowness of this chair is something that some purchasers may wish to be mindful of. I am 5’6â€, normally a size 10-12, am currently 7 months pregnant and I fit in this chair quite comfortably, but there’s not a ton of room to spare - maybe an inch or two on either side of me.I do wish it was available in other colors, although I think the neutral color it comes in is lovely and would compliment a wide variety of other colors. I added two photos - one in the evening with the bedroom light on and one with natural light - to give a sense of the color offered.My last food for thought is that it might be worth it to shop around. I realized after I purchased this chair that I could have saved 5% at Target (because we have their RedCard) or 10% at Modern Nursery. When the total cost is $800, that’s a decent chunk of change. However, the glider is not returnable with some other vendors and Amazon’s customer service has never let me down, so overall I’m happy we purchased this glider from Amazon.I’ll do my best to update this review in a another few months, once the chair has gotten more use!

I research SO many different gliders to get for our upcoming baby girl. I ultimately decided on this one for various reasons including the power recliner feature. It is very quiet when recliner and going back to original position. It also has smooth glide and rocking feature. It doesn't turn a complete 360 degrees but that doesn't bother me. It also has some space on the sides when sitting it in which I wanted. I was worried about my feet not touching the bottom when sitting in the chair but my feet touch (5'2" height) and also fits my husband really well (6'1"). The box it gets delivered in is massive and heavy which is something to consider when getting it delivered. It was easy to put together based on my husband's review - bottom piece, head piece and two side pieces that slide in easily. It is also VERY comfortable and when both my husband and I sat it in we didn't want to get up! I was torn between getting this one and a few similar ones that reclined by pulling a lever but I am so glad I went with this one!! well worth the extra money and may be good to purchase with using the registry completion discount to get some money off!

Comfy chair, perfect for our nursery. We love that we could later down the line move it to our living room and it wouldn't look strange. It's very comfortable and the material doesn't feel cheap at all compared to some other chairs we tried out. The box was very heavy but set up was pretty easy.

Love it. Very comfortable, good size, color is nice, and was easy to put together. Base is definitely heavy! Fabric is pretty stain resistant I got blood on it from my finger and it came right out with cold water and paper towel. Worth the money and will keep it for a long time. Got it with 15% off Amazon baby registry completion discount. Can’t wait to sit here and snuggle my baby.

Very disappointed in this chair. It was nice initially but after a little over a year the recline motor and charger stopped working. Support didn't help since it was just out of warranty but we were able to fix the issue following instructions on Reddit to bypass the voltage regulator for the charger to make the recline switches work again. The charger is inconvenient anyways and we never even used it. This seems like a very common issues which is infuriating for an $800 dollar chair. Spend your money on a different nursery chair.

In the beginning I was highly tempted to return it due to some creaking, but that thankfully faded away.Overall this chair is a huge quality of life improvement. I'm 5'8" with a 32" waist and sit comfortably in this chair with plenty of room to spare. Great chair to hold a baby and rock in. The wings at the head rest are great to lean against, especially for those nights you got to keep holding your little baby because he'll cry if you put him down. Fabric is easy to clean, which is a plus when a baby spits up. I thought the power sockets on the interior was poorly thought out in the beginning, but I actually prefer it there than on the outside (I put this chair near a wall which makes the controls inaccessible if on the outside at certain orientations). The little lumbar pillow has gotten a little squishy after me sitting on it a couple of times, but it is quite comfortable when I arrange it right.Some other reviews indicate the back rest has quite a bit of an incline. It does, but it's not too dramatic for me. I actually haven't used the recline that much (not while holding my baby), although sometimes just for the heck of it I'll put it in recline and lean back and rest.My main criticism of this chair would be that sometimes when I stand up, the chair will rock until the base hops from the ground. So I need to add extra care to first stop rocking, and then standing up vertically instead of leaning forward. I weigh about 170lbs so I really don't think I should be able to tilt this chair off its base that easily... that seems to be a minor design flaw.
