It seems like I can always use a few more clips around my shop and these are a good size for a lot of different applications - not too big that they're difficult to store, yet not so small that they can't actually fit over anything. These will work great for hanging a welding blanket to shield nearby vehicles from weld splatter. They've got plenty of strength to grasp onto the fairly dense welding blankets and hold them in place. I'll also use them to hang tarps to mask off areas when sanding or painting, just to keep things a little cleaner. As said, the springs on these have plenty of strength to grasp onto tarps and blankets and the plastic handles seem solid for that type of use. I don't know if I'd trust a plastic clip outside, as I think UV would tend to break it down over time, but that would go for any plastic clip, not just these.

These clamps have a decent amount of spring tension to secure most items. I have a large two seat office desk and bookcase that takes up almost two walls in the room. The desk mounted bookshelves have a vertical board under the horizontal bottom surface that makes it a perfect location and height to hang papers and other items from, so I am constantly trying to hang items on it. Currently I am using some of the large metal paper style clips, but these should work much better. Plus the pads on these clamps should help protect the wood. They are plastic and lightweight, so I am not sure about their durability, but I am sure they will be fine if not abused. For the price of the eight pack, you can't go wrong if you have any need for clamps like these.

Stronger than I thought they would be got these basically for my workshop just to hold stuff together and work out great. My granddaughter took half of them so she can make her tents out of blankets and sheets. These clip on tight to hold blankets together so we’re both happy we got these ,they really clamp tight

These do the job on backdrops, along rods in the studio, and around the house. They're as sturdy as any name brand backdrop clamps, and the flexible jaw pad actually seems more secure than most and less likely to snap off when unclamping from rods.

These are good, light duty plastic spring clamps that are great for a variety of uses. I use these around the shop to temporarily hold tools, lights, and a variety of materials in place. Some of the items I've temporarily held in place with these clamps remain clamped today because they work well enough to convert their temporary status to permanent use. I'm not much of a wood worker but I have clamped 2 pieces of wood together while a glue joint set and they worked great for that. These are just the kind of tool that you'll need sooner rather than later. These are pretty light duty plastic but so far I've had no issues. I am very careful not to put them in any kind of twisting scenario and then they work great. These are a real good value for 8 clamps.
