I live in Southeast Texas and the winter freeze last year was a nightmare. My sprinkler pipe froze and cracked below the shut off requiring me to turn off my main water line until the sprinkler pipe could be temporarily capped. I had insulated and covered the pipes to no avail.This year I purchased this cover hoping in addition to me insulating the pipe it would give the added protection. Although our winter was not like last year, I truly believe this cover saved my sprinkler pipe. We still had below freezing temperatures 4-5 nights in a row. It worked and I couldn't be happier. It is very easy to install and the velcro bottom really helped hug and cover the pipes completely. It has medium insulation but definitely kept the wind chill at bay and the insulated pipes stayed dry from the freezing rain. The price was very reasonable. It was soooo worth it!

This cover is great! It’s thick and durable, really nice quality and super easy to get on and off. It keeps the pipes insulated and the larger size is ideal.

i bought this to protect sprinkler system during winter. My lawn care guy recommended it. Every time a hard freeze breaks the pipe and backflow preventor unit. it is good investment. it is a good size which covers the complete unit. it has valcro in the end which stick. No rope or anything required to close the opening.

Covered all pipes and valves on sprinkler system and was very easy to put in place. Protected system from a hard freeze. So much easier and more effective than my previous use of towels, plastic bags, and tape. Also easy to remove for use next winter.

The item was what was needed but the insulation of the item was much thinner than expected. I also paid for faster shipping but the item arrived late so the additional shipping fee i paid was a waste.
