Your cart is empty.A towering tribute constructed for the most daring of little climbers: the Mount McKinley. Whether they scale the rock climbing wall, scramble up the step ladder, or pull themselves up the rope ladder, your kids will feel like they reached the highest peaks of this play set. You don’t need an off-road vehicle to feel like you’re cruising along the Rockies — the open wooden plank structure of the upper outdoor playhouse, along with its bright green tarp roof, telescope and steering wheel, transport every imagination to a mountain range oasis. Taking a quick slide back down from the summit, you’ll store your nature souvenirs in the toy storage box and then finish your adventure on the belt swings or swing trapeze bar.

This thing takes easily 8-10 hours to build. All the wood is labeled, which makes it easy to identify what needs to go where. Plenty of extra hardware. The wood is perfect for the kiddos who get to play one it. It even supported my 210lbs to get the higher up pieces together. Good looking wood grain color.I got this for my daughter as an early birthday present, and she absolutely loves it. She's all over it and constantly jumping from one thing to the next. She's had so much fun playing on it. The hours of labor really made it worth while to see her big smile. I assembled it by myself, but it would go faster with more people, not to mention power tools. Can't wait for the family friends and their kids to come play on it.The instructions were a little confusing at times, so take your time when you're building it and have a table set out with everything on it. Everything is labeled. Well worth the money. Just time consuming to build.

I bought this swing set for my almost 3 year old grandson. I had priced locally sourced sets, which were about twice the price I paid for this and some weren't even cedar, as this is. Good quality materials and although it was very time consuming, it wasn't too difficult to put together (if you're a bit handy). As was recommended on another review that I read, it is very helpful to lay out all the pieces by their letter identifyers before starting to construct as there are a lot of pieces. Also helps to have an electric or cordless screw driver.

I plan to update this review after some time of use but this is my initial impression review. This playset is great overall! It took my husband and I 8 hours to put together. My husband is very handy and he had all the suggested tools prior to installation. It was a crazy hot day so we took breaks as well. I got the next step pieces and hardware ready while my husband assembled for a smooth assembly process. We took inventory before assembling and we had every piece plus lots of extra hardware. Nothing came damaged or warped, except for two pieces that were slightly split at predrilled holes, that split a little more during assembly. I plan to contact the company to have those pieces on hand in case they continue to split. The pieces are very sturdy, good quality. I don't forsee this playset deteriorating any time soon.We had no issues with install, very smooth process, easy to understand instructions. My kids are delighted!! I have 6 year old twins. This set is a great size, they should be able to enjoy this for a few years.I'm impressed with the slide as well. While the side rails, the green part, get too hot to touch, the slide itself, the yellow part, is just fine to slide down on hot days, which surprised me.If I had a negative it would be that I wish the price was a bit less. But this is a good quality, sturdy playset so I'm hoping it's worth the investment in the long haul.

This is a great kit. There was one image backwards on the instructions and one board was mislabeled on the instructions for placement. The hardest part about this kit was separating all the parts and arranging them in a useable order. The construction seems odd at times as you will “jump†around building pieces unlike most construction from the ground up. Just be patient and look at the instructions and ensure images are correct. Took about 8 hours to put together just because it’s such a large puzzle and sometimes you switch bolt and screw packets. Make sure your ground is level and square as possible before putting together. We laid a tarp out to get an idea of where we wanted ours in our yard and how we wanted it oriented. They also have where you can use an image of the swing set and place it where you want in the camera/photo of the area. We also used some landscape timbers and rubber mulch for the inside areas of the set and it took over 50bags! A few tools are needed and another person is needed when ready to start to put it all together but only briefly. No missing parts or hardware and minimal tools required. They even provided most of the tools and bits for screws as well as a gauge for board separation. We added the toddler and baby swing as the kit only comes with normal swings.

My grandson was immediately in love with his new “playground†as he called it. It’s very durable and has held up well under various weather patterns. I did hire a professional to level the ground and install it securely.

Assembly was not complicated. The BILT app was very helpful. A cordless drill is crucial. I decided to stain the wood parts with deck stain and sealer prior to assembly, which was very time consuming but worthwhile. Overall it took me probably 8 total hours aside from the staining. It was helpful to look forward several steps in the instructions to get all the pieces and hardware together bit by bit. I had no issue with split boards or misaligned holes that others noted. Quick tip: When putting in the T-nuts, pound them in with a hammer. It will help with getting the bolt threaded. It feels very sturdy with the exception of the legs for the swing set. I’ll probably add a stabilizing piece and set the anchors in concrete. The kids love it and have been playing on it nonstop since I put it together. Doesn’t take up too much space on the yard. Overall I’m very pleased with the purchase!

Besides a very minor split putting together the steps, everything else went well and the 8 hour build time seems about right. Never doing that again! Lol. Make sure to plan. Building with 2 teen nephews made it more chaos than it needed to be. This will hold well for the 3 year old for some years to come at least! Did I say never doing that again? lol.
