Love this "fat" saver! I'm using it for the cooking oil from my Fry Daddy! The strainer certainly came in handy in cleaning out the dregs left from fried chicken!!! And it's so cute!

So I know I know, it's JUST a bacon/grease drain container, right? Well let me tell you, it's not so much the container itself that I'm impressed with even as nice as it is. It's the enamel!!!!! Seriously! OMG! This is THE BEST enamel finish I've seen on anything since my grandma's old enamel cookware! And I LOVE it! There's not a single bad spot on this thing anywhere upon close inspection!Overall the pot is much heavier than it would be without the enamel finish. This thing is solidly built! I love the beautiful pop of the red color! It's a great bright male cardinal red, as in the bird LOL. The lid handle and side handle are very solidly attached. The interior is white enamel and the rim of the stainless steel shows. The grease strainer cup has fine small holes to trap snaller particle and it's made of SUS-304 stainless steelm so it's food safe and durable. It sits totally level, the strainer fits perfectly inside it and the lid fits inside the rim perfectly.This little beauty will look great adding a pop of color to your kitchen sitting on the counter, leave it on the stovetop, it can go straight into the fridge once cooled down... and it's dishwasher safe! This is just so so cute with the little pig graphic on the side. It holds 46 ounces of whatever type of grease, you can then put the grease into a mason jar or whatever container once cooled, then into the fridge for longer keeping it fresh... You can't go wrong with this one! The handle also protects your hand when picking it up if hot liquids are in it too.Regular price 9.95 per the listing is a steal at this pricepoint! Frankly I'm amazed it's not more! I sure wish I could get a set of enamelware pots/pans with this quality!As always I only do honest reviews and update if needed. Cute, decorative, inexpensive and functional! Good size. A little bigger than I expected, but I like it. Easy to clean the mesh strainer. I've been using it for all things greasy so I don't have to go through a million paper towels. I'll freeze it and chuck it when it's fuller. But great if you save bacon grease for cooking and baking.

This cute bacon grease container is actually much bigger than I had anticipated. It holds 46 ounces, which is a lot! I’ll never run out of bacon grease, once I get it filled, lol!It comes with a strainer to filter out the bacon ‘bits’ if you want. I personally want all those tasty little bits mixed throughout; but I realize not everyone does. It’s a beautiful red color with a cute bacon logo imprinted on the front. Also has a handle which I found useful when lifting 46 ounces of bacon grease! It’s dishwasher safe, so I think they’ve thought of everything. The less than $10 price sold me on this particular one. This would make a cute housewarming gift, especially if it was full when you gave it away!

The enamel container is nostalgic and nice, but the cover only fits well when the strainer is installed. Without the strainer, the cover shifts too easily within the boundaries of the container. One feels that air will make its way into it.Then, the strainer, while having suitably tiny holes, is extremely thin and flimsy. It is bound to bend while being hand-washed the first time. In fact, the shoddily welded on handle of the strainer - which will also pop off sooner rather than later - was already bent when I took it from the product box.If quality control had not skimped on the strainer and the fit, this would have been a minimum 4-star product.
