How to Apply Badger Mineral Sunscreens to your Baby
- We recommend rubbing the product between your hands to warm it before applying. This will make it easier to apply.
- Apply directly to the skin, rubbing it in to protect the entire area and reduce whitening.
- For full protection, reapply at least every 2 hours.
- To cover your entire body be sure to use about a shotglass-full for adults, less for children and babies. The phrase ‘a little bit goes a long way' is not true of any sunscreen.

I used Badger’s Sunscreen on my 9 month old on our recent trip to Maui. He has sensitive skin (was eczema prone when he was younger) and is also very fair. I was a little worried this wouldn’t protect his super fair skin but it worked exceptionally well. We did make sure to take other measures to protect him with hats and long sleeve swim tops but he was in the exposed a few times and thus protected his skin really well. It also smells great and is easy to wash off for a mineral sunscreen. That’s always a plus. It didn’t feel sticky at all, just a little oily but that went away as it was absorbed.

Excellent sunblock. Used for 3 weeks on an 8 month old baby every single day, no sunburn. Goes on thick, but it spreads really well once melted in your palms. This tube lasted us for 3 weeks (used on face, arms, and legs only).

This sunscreen works great! It says to reapply after being in water but we have never had any trouble with sunburns if we did not reapply. It seems to last much longer than the directions say. The only downside to it is that it is pretty oily when first applied but once it is rubbed in well that improves. We will definitely continue to use this product.

I love the clean ingredients with Badger. I feel good about using this on my baby, but the whole family uses it too! It’s a little thick compared to other sunscreen but it makes your skin feel nourished after. I really like this and will continue using it!

As expected, it is slightly oily. BUT it truly rubs in clear and doesn’t leave any white cast. I love that it is made with cleaner ingredients. Will purchase again!

I’ve gotten this sunscreen a few times for my baby. It works well and I love that it’s a cleaner brand. It goes on the skin looking like any other sunscreen and can be rubbed in and you can’t really see any trace of it. I will certainly be getting this again!
