These scissors are great! I purchased these for my o rely ambitious 1.5 year old. Before giving them to him, I of course tried them out. Here’s what I found, overall:Pros- They are SO CUTE! I love the attention to detail from the adorable bunny paw prints along the shanks to the little ears and stubby tail on the bows.- They are lightweight but sturdy. Light enough for a toddler to handle but sturdy enough for a toddler to beat up.- They cut everything they are supposed to, and nothing they aren’t supposed to. I tried these scissors on lots of things: a paper towel, printer paper, construction paper, a Ziplock bag, my finger, and my hair, to name a few. They cut through the printer paper and the construction paper pretty easily, the ziplock bag and the paper towel were a bit harder (which is a good thing! I don’t need my toddler trying to cut up everything he can get his tiny hands on). When I tried on my finger, even as hard as I could, it luckily wouldn’t cut me, let alone hurt, which is great. Most importantly, they don’t cut through hair, so no homemade haircuts for us!- They can be used with both left and right hands. I encourage my son to use both hands and these cut well on either hand!- The price is super low.Cons- While they aren’t hard to cut with, they can be a bit rigid. Although, they haven’t been “broken in†and may loosen up a lot over time.Overall, these scissors are a fantastic buy!

I bought these for my daughter, who is apparently the best with scissors in her class. I never knew she liked cutting out things so much until one night she sat there for over an hour with a cutting activity. So I knew I had to get her her own set of scissors. The other pair she had weren't the best. These ones seem to work very nicely and she's extremely happy to have them. I like that I don't have to worry about her cutting other things (like the blanket on my couch.......) but she can cut paper well. They seem to be pretty easy for her to use, too.

Loved these scissors since they truly don't cut hair. Of course, that means that cutting can be challenging, too, since these are not that sharp. They started frustrating the child after a while since we were trying to cut construction paper and sometimes it wouldn't cut... and it was hard on little hands after a while since they're not that sharp. They'll cut big pieces of paper just fine - even construction paper, but if your child is trying to cut narrow pieces, this isn't going to work well. They're very lightweight, but don't have the option for the spring that the fiskars and Target brand have that open the scissors again automatically.Kid got a kick out of the bunny design, too.Great for learning on since they're super blunt, not metal, doesn't cut hair (I tried it on my own hair. 1 strand. Didn't do much.), and light.

These scissors are absolutely awesome ! My 3 year old daughter has been able to cut everything from tracing paper to construction paper with little effort on her part. They are the perfect size for little hands too and were easy enough for me to use and help cut with her. They do not cut anything else as I had tried on an old t-shirt just to be sure we weren't going to turn our heads for a second and have a sleeveless shirt or a few strips added to one. Luckily we haven't had any experience with the question of if they can cut hair or not but hopefully no ones getting any haircuts anytime soon. All in all these scissors are terrific, we've tried some other "kids" scissors that just wedged the paper between the 2 blades without cutting anything. Great purchase and I highly recommend!

These do the job and cut through paper smoothly, quickly, and easily. I didn’t see have any issues with crumpled paper v. brand new, perfectly flat. The scissors cut through both types with ease. Then, I started to branch out. The package the scissors came in. Ah, not much. It seemed to only cut the bubbles instead of the actual package and the bubbles. So we’ll say slightly, but not completely. Then I tried an old shirt. Nothing. Didn’t even leave the smallest of holes or cuts. Still in perfect condition. The brand claims they don’t cut skin, hair, or clothing, and I’m happy to report that is all indeed true.Like everyone else, I tried on my hair. Do you know that “sound†scissors make when they’re cutting your hair? I think they want to. I think they’d try if they could. However, These do not cut your hair, so no mama will have to walk home to an unplanned beauty appointment.Dull on the end, doesn’t cut anything but paper, lightweight, and just super cute. I’ll recommend these, easily.

Easy to use and easy to hold. I am still teaching my toddler how to use scissors so I have to go hand over hand with her but it's very comfortable. My daughter seems to be able to hold it easy enough. The thing I like the best about it is the safety features and the ability to still cut paper. I feel very comfortable with allowing my daughter to use it. I tried cutting clothing material and it's true... it didn't cut! But it does cut paper! Anyway, great first scissors! I highly recommend it!

I wanted to introduce my 2-year-old to paper cutting for crafts and sorts, and these scissors seemed like the perfect choice for safety. Super cute for kids! In terms of safety, they certainly deliver – they are undoubtedly "safe" scissors. So safe they don't even cut paper well. You have to hold the paper in a certain unconventional way to get it to cut. It makes the process feel awkward and challenging. While they may serve well as tools for learning, they fall short when it comes to paper cutting.

This is safe for children, the edge was little sharp and had to use sandpaper to make it blunt
