We bought this for my 7 year old for Valentine's Day. I was his teacher/sous chef tonight. He read the directions with ease and they were easy to follow. They came out great. The only thing we did differently was add some vanilla to the buttercream, they needed that little bit of flavor. It made 9 whoopie pies for us. You will need to provide your own egg, milk, and oil.-very easy-taste good-easy to read directions-tips to help tell they are doneThe kit is a little pricey, but to get a kid interested in and build confidence in cooking/baking, I think it was worth it for that occasional splurge.

The kit is pricey and the ingredients are just okay, but the fun I had with my grandson was worth every penny! The convenience of having everything pre-measured made our baking experience go smoothly. The bright box and packaging caught my grandson’s interest and got him excited about baking with nana:)

I don't even know were to begin! I'm a preschool teacher - my students and I enjoyed baking (and eating of course;) these heavenly cookies.But there is much more to it. Besides enjoying the yummy aroma while the cookies were in the oven we had a fantastic educational experience as well. So many objectives in my weekly planning were easily met by purchasing BAKETIVITY. Looking forward to have many more "aha moments" by buying a variety of them.

My 10 year old received this as a Christmas gift, and absolutely loved it! The brown sugar was a bit hard, but with some parent support she was still able to blend it into the rest of the dough. Will definitely be looking into the subscription option on Baketivity's site.

It was cute… nicely measured and packaged…. but I questioned the freshness of the ingredients, particularly the chocolate pieces. They were kinda nasty.
