Super effective and durable at a low price. Second winter season in Minnesota USA with this balaclava. 61 year old male here. Any time the temps are below 20 degrees Fahrenheit I wear this. I do two dog walks per day regardless of the weather. Keeps my head and neck comfortably warm at all times against cold and wind. This isn’t really for light duty situations - it’s designed for cold weather applications. The panel over your nose and mouth works great, I’m able to breathe easily at all times. The fleece is high quality and the construction is solid. This is an important part of my cold weather gear - I’ve been out in -30 degrees F in this and been very comfortable. I hand wash it in mild detergent once each spring. Great value. I recommend to everyone trying to stay warm in cold temps.

Thick and warm. Noticeably thicker than other head socks when wearing under a ski helmet (had to adjust helmet strap) but it's warm and good for the cold ski nights. It's pretty big so not for little kids but big hairy adult guy heads.

I liked the balaclava, but I didnt at the same time. I wore it in roughly 15-30 degrees, my head wasnt necessarily cold with a beanie hat over it, however I didnt like how loosely it fit. I had to fold it up in the back to make it tighter & tuck the excess in my hat which caused other problems because then its crooked.Also, because the mouth part is mesh my nose occasionally became cold.I will continue to use it, but im definitely going to have to safety pin it or have it tailored.

I have a size 8, 25" circumference head. This fits slightly loosely which is great. Tried it at zero deg.F w/40 mph wind and was quite warm. Works under construction helmet or knit hat if you've found one that fits. Buy 2 so you can rinse the snot out and hang to dry. Good to protect that cranial capacity.

Purchase this for my nephew and he loves how thick and warm it is. He works early morning hours and this helps keep him warm and protects him from the elements. It’s comfortable enough for him to wear while he’s working. The style is soft and it has a lot of stretch.

I missed the window to return by a day which I’m mad about. I really wanted to like this. The material is good but it is huge - like abnormally huge. I don’t have a big head but I can’t imagine who this would actually fit. It is so baggy on my that it doesn’t help with the cold because the air just enters through the sides.I don’t recommend unless you have a gigantic head.

For truly cold weather, this is a must-have. The face cover can be easily pulled down below the chin or lifted up to the eyes. The inherent snugness, however, can make wearing glasses uncomfortable. The breathing vent on the face cover is also not as porous as featured. So, exhaled condensation will still fog up eyewear. Nonetheless, this will definitely keep you warm and insulated, although it's recommended to wear another winter hat underneath the hood.

Fits very well & nice material. Could’ve used it weeks ago when sub zero weather & hi snow accumulation came by! Like the breathable mask area & materials
