Perfect mat for me & my husband in 70's.Very firm, well constructed great purple color! I lit was vital to locate a mat that was firm and would give good support.Use it in mornings for stretching & exercises that help with arthritis for both of us. Ordered size2 x 6 . The fabric is very soft and comfortable also. Great buy😊

I got this because I got tired of replacing flimsy rolls of yoga mats over and over that weren't even comfortable (those that have quite the booty, will totally get what I mean). I know this is meant for intense use (MMA, Gymnastics, etc) but, I liked that it looked like a thick mat that was black and sturdy. Now, there is a lot to appreciate in the construction of this item:• Can tell it is very durable - the stitchwork is strong as the material used to make the pads.• The cushion is wonderfully dense - can comfortably support 180-325lbs.• The materials don't have a funky smell and are easy to clean.• The item is quite wide and long - (I use it sometimes to exercise while watching tv and even snoozed on it once lol)• Easy to tuck away somewhere once folded upAt this price point, I feel like this was an excellent investment in improving my health and definitely recommend it to anyone that is tired of feeling the cold hard floor while doing their exercises & yoga.** 2025 Update: I still own this and it has not fallen apart, peeled, or lost density. It has held up really well throughout a lot of exercise videos and movie nights.

This is perfect for floor exercises! Very comfortable! Very easy to use, no bad smell, no slipping because I put it on a small rug. So far holding up very well. I recommend.

This mat is the perfect length, and perfect thickness to protect my knees as I kneel for stretching. I appreciate how it folds up with ease. I also like the handles that makes it easier to transport. And the pink color is very pretty.

I wish I would have thought of this years ago!!!I was living in a cargo trailer for 6 years and bought a camping mat to sleep on (I had finally recovered from using a wheelchair and hospital bed for 2 years after an auto accident). For the first 3 months I was in excruciating pain every morning when I woke up and it would take me quite a while to get off the floor. Now I live in a travel trailer but am having a queen size mattress is proving nearly as difficult with the pain.I started looking for something in between a camping mat (or bare floor) and a mattress. Low and behold, I just a week ago started looking at gymnastic mats and found this one (2†thick rather than a camping mats for 1/4†- 1/2â€). The price is within my budget and the reviews were pretty good so I thought I’d give it a try. I also like the color blue and that was one of the color choices! Can’t beat that!I bought a purple one for my Mom too (we were suffering from the accident together and we still live together and she too has been in a lot of pain).The mats came fast and when I looked it over, the stitching seemed durable enough and the material thick enough and I appreciate that I didn’t have to air it out (it had a slight odor but it didn’t make me sick). I tested it out last night and this morning I didn’t want to get up, NOT BECAUSE OF THE PAIN BUT BECAUSE I WAS IN SO MUCH LESS PAIN!This would make a nice camping mat if you don’t mind it’s about the size of a folding table (a little thicker); it’s far better on the joints and more durable too.I was trying to leave a separate review for the purple mat my Mom used, but the review seem tied together, so I guess I’ll have to include it as an update:Mom says she loves the color! There was a slight odor, but with a quick wipe down (with lemon essential oil) the odor was gone. She’d been sleeping in a 0gravity lawn chair for 2 weeks and this may was a nice change. She slept much better, didn’t have to get up so much in the night, and says it’ll be her new bed from now on. It’s thicker padding and the cover and stitching seem to be heavy duty. Along with my review, she’s also giving her mat a 5 star!

I use this item for yoga at home, and it gives me great support and protection during my exercises. The thick padding feels comfortable on my knees and back, and the surface doesn’t slip, which helps me stay safe.I also like that it’s easy to clean and fold when I’m done. It’s lightweight, so I can move it around without trouble.This mat makes my yoga sessions more comfortable and worry-free. I’m happy with it!

I mainly use this mat for stretching due to back problems and this mat feels great. Please note that it does have cushion, but is not soft, is actually pretty darn firm so don’t let some of the other reviews confuse you when they say “is comfortable “. I don’t even know what they mean by that. It also depends on what you want. If soft cushion is what you’re looking for this is not the one for you. I am sure that with time this may get softer as all materials do, but as of now brand new it is very firm, which I personally really like due to my low back chronic issues.The mat is really really well made and I’m very impressed.

gute Matte, habe seit Jahren mehrere davon gekauft, in der USA, in der UK und jetzt in Deutschland. sie sind viel in Benutzung und das seit Jahren. Es sei, dass nun plötzlich sich die Qualität verschlechtert haben sollte, kann ich die Matte nur empfehlen.

I am really happy with my gym mat. I have back problems and I find it's compfortable for me to do situps on it. Used it for yoga. Good compfort and grip for different yoga positions. I even used it to run in place on it since I don't have a treadmill yet. It's easier on my legs then running on my hard floor in socks. It's sturdy enough to do anything you can with a mat. I also love how it folds easily and has a handle to carry it. It's lightweight and yet I find it longer and thicker then some mats I've used at actual gyms. I can lie on it fully without my feet hanging off of it. I'm 5 feet 0 inches but regular gym mats I'd still have my feet hanging off the edge when laying flat lol. Of course I also love the cute pink colour. Price was decent to as these mats usually run close to $100 if not over $100. Lol my hubby even used it. I'm thinking of getting another one soon. I highly recommend. 😊🤸â€â™€ï¸

Ordered this from Amazon on 8 May 2020 and finally received it on 20 May 2020 with priority overseas shipping.First impressions1. advertised dimensions: 6' x 2' x 2"; actual measured dimensions: 5'8" x 23" x 2" (ie. 180cm x 59cm x 5cm)2. mat seems sturdy and thick3. no velcro4. carrying handles attached5. correct color6. cushioning is firm and not squishyWill start exercising on it and see how the mat holds up
