I can't speak for how well this works washing kids hair, but as a padded floor seat my kiddo loves it.Wasn't sure what to expect when it came rolled up in parts, but the foam popped right back into shape almost instantly. It's pretty easy to get the foam into the cover, and I didn't have to struggle assembling it.The backing has tiny rubberized dots to help keep it in place, and the cover fit well after assembly.There are some complaints though. I think the faux leather cover felt a little thin compared to other covers. It seems like it will be more easy to puncture/tear than thicker covers I have seen. The zippers also seem thin and easy to pop open, so I am not sure how many zips and unzips these will withstand.Also, if you do use this for hair washing, the bottom of the cover is not really water proof. It's satiny in texture (minus the dots) and absorbs water after less than a second of exposure. So if water gets under this mat, the foam will get wet and musty.

This is a great multi-purpose foam mat. I got it to use as a seat cushion on a chair that my grandmother uses when she is at my house. When she is not here, I use it to elevate my legs and feet at night, because I have terrible circulation issues. It has helped a lot, and I love that the cushion folds in half to make it thicker and elevate my feet higher. I plan to get another one when I can, so that I have one for the chair and one for me.

This is a neat multipurpose pad. It was a little weird the way it was rolled, but it did expand well and was easy to put together. The bottom doesn't seem to be waterproof, so be careful if you are using it for hair washing and make sure it gets properly aired out to dry. It works perfect for laying down on the ground to read or to sit on the chair at the dining room table. My kids like using it.

The person that made this didn't do a good job.....at all. You'll see one was made correcrly and the other that wasn't. See pics for reference. Going to have to return/replace.

It came disassembled. I wasn't expecting to have to place the foam inside of the leather sleeves myself, especially for a $40 product. Also, it would be nice if they specified which piece of foam goes into which slot as there are no instructions or visual markings. I understand it's not rocket science to figure it out, but it's these little things I expect from a $40 item.I also agree with another commentor, the outer sleeve is thin and I'm not sure how long it will last as it was already starting to wear and tear from me getting the foam pieces into place. It will serve it's purpose for what I need it for, but there are improvements needed in my opinion if the seller is to justify the price. Either that or lower the price to match it's quality.

Love this hair washing pad for kids. Adds padded comfort when the kiddo has to lay there for a long time. Very functional and soft. Easy to use. Easy to clean.

I like the cover, which works well to keep the water away. The contours also help to keep the little one's hair where it is easily managed. It appears to be comfortable. Main issue I had was the slight smell out of the foam after opening that dissipated after leaving it in the garage for a while. Seems good overall though.
