I am going to begin lap swimming for winter exercise. I used to swim competitively almost 40 years ago and while I'm in decent condition for my age, I have no desire to parade around in the "budgie smugglers" of my day. No one wants to see that! I don't care for the look of Jammers either, so I was happy to find square leg trunks. I purchased a pair of Speedo brand ones, and while they were incredibly well made, they were really think and inflexible. I just didn't care for how they felt on me. I have our jased Baeleaf mountain biking clothing before, and was really happy with them, so I was pleased when I saw these. The recommended sizing fit me perfectly, and they feel great! They are maybe a little more stretchy than I'd prefer, but they are well made and I really like them. Very happy withy purchase!

These are quite comfortable swim trunks. I got my usual size and they fit quite well. There's a tie on the top that lets you adjust the waistband depending on if they are at all loose on you. For me, they're somewhat clingy, but that is what you get when you get athletic trunks, if you're looking for loose swimwear you need to get a different type of swim trunks altogether. I'm not entirely sold on the 'support' portion of the trunks, but it doesn't get in the way or is uncomfortable in any way. The little inside pocket to keep your keys or cash is a nice little extra that is very useful. I love the aqua blue color. The MSRP (28.99) seems good for a decent pair of comfortable athletic swimwear.

Ok but they stretch out after about 3 months of daily swimming

As a new years resolution I decided to get back into shape. I bought these Baleaf swim jammers for swim training and possibly triathlon use. Also, I personally always travel with swimming trunks as you never know when they might be handy and these would take little space in the luggage.Unwrapping the jammers out of the bag, I had a good feeling about the material. The material is of good quality and even the aqua blue color is a very solid color, not translucent or see-through even when stretch or wet. The black highlights are actually sewn into the product, which made me wonder if the seams might be bothersome, but they are not, even when I ran several kilometers with the jammers dry. The long sizing tag indicates the body is made of 82% Polyester 18% lycra and the lining is 90% polyester and 10% spandex. The fabric claims to be UPF 50+.I have a 30†waist and ordered the smallest size which fits a bit loose on me, but is okay since the fabric is stretchy. (The small is supposed to fit a 31" - 32.5†waist.) The lining is an additional layer of material in the front I guess to provide a bit of modesty. However I found it did not do anything to support me and I kept falling out of this layer. I repurposed the drawstring for some additional support. Maybe this would not be an issue if the fit was a bit tighter, however this has been an issue for most of my previous swim briefs in the past, so I am not knocking off a star. The Baleaf jammers have a small pocket in the front inside that I found handy for storing a locker or car key.Baleaf’s slogan on the tags was “Meticulously Designed to Move With You†and these do meet that criteria. I did not feel restricted even in pre-workout warmups or stretching. I like the style with a 3-4†inseam instead of jammers down to your knees and they have held up well in the couple of washes they have received this far. They do not dry as quick as some other swim trunks I have, but I think that is the thicker material. I am happy with my purchase and I think they will help me with training.

I got these to wear under a wet suit, which they're great for, but decided to also give them a try for my pool exercise. Unsurprisingly, when used their intended purpose, long periods of continuous swimming, they work great! I never noticed how much drag my long, loose swim trunks were causing, but with these jammers, I easily glide through the water! Again, that's obviously what they're intended for, so if that's what you need, I'd recommend them!
