I've never worn a long-sleeve sun shirt while hiking before but with getting older, I thought it would be good to start better protecting my skin when I'm in the outdoors. You can spend as much as you want for outdoor clothing but I thought I'd start with something relatively inexpensive.This shirt was exactly what I needed. It's long enough in the body that I didn't have trouble with it traveling up while wearing my backpack. I have a long body so this was an especially good feature. It also was lightweight enough that I didn't get overheated. That was my primary concern with a sun shirt was whether I would be sweating like a pig while wearing it in August. It was never an issue. Even wearing it for multiple days, it didn't smell especially bad and I didn't feel like I was sweating any more than if I were wearing a short-sleeve shirt.In the end, I'm really happy with this purchase. I'll probably purchase a second one for multi-day trips. Highly recommend.

I am 6' and 170lb. and this shirt in a Medium fits me perfectly. I like a little extra length in the torso and arms, along with a slimmer fit, and this shirt has it. The length is slightly more in the back than the front, so if you bike, fish, or do anything else in a seated position, this shirt doesn't expose your lower back at all. But it's also not ridiculously long that it looks silly when you're upright. Honestly it's perfect, the fabric is light and breathable, great meshed fabric along the sides between the armpits and the waist, and that same mesh comprises the area of the pull-up mask portion of the neck collar so you can breathe easily with the mask and hood up over your head and face. The rest of the shirt breathes well too, but this is a really nice design touch. I am buying one or two more in different colors. At the time of this review, it's only $30....good luck finding anything of anywhere close to this quality in that price point. Kudos to Baleaf, this is my new favorite shirt!

Definitely not cut for tall and lean.For reference: I'm 6'5 205# and about 12%BF, 32†waist. So this review is for folks who are similarly proportioned. I bought a size "M"The sleeves are not cut long enough for the thumb holes to be comfortable. The neck gaiter is a cool idea, it's just not executed well for my size and will be pulled down as soon as I turn my head. The hood is also weirdly short and feels like it pulls the shoulders up, making the sleeves even more uncomfortable. All this and the midsection is still fairly baggy, like it was cut for a shorter, thicc'er fellow.It's a nice material though! Very soft and does block the sun well!

This shirt is very comfortable, light weight, and good quality. IF I were REQUIRED to complain about something, it would be that the lettering denoting the brand came off in the first wash. If you’re someone that finds that important, then you might be disappointed. The shirt fits as expected, and the color was spot on in the product photos. As far as I can tell, the sun protection is as advertised, and the hood and mask are great at keeping the sun, and bugs away from your face and head. Washing is straight forward. I am very pleased with this shirt, and plan to purchase a few more in the coming weeks.

I love this BALEAF Sun Protection Hoodie! It’s my go-to for outdoor adventures—used it for a multi-day rafting trip and felt like I could totally pass for the raft guide. Well, except for the 40 extra pounds and 40 years I’ve got on them. But hey, with this shirt on, at least I looked like I knew what I was doing.The silky, breathable fabric kept me cool and comfortable all day, even when I was huffing and puffing on land. It dries super quick, which was a lifesaver after getting splashed (or accidentally flipping… no judgment). The UPF 50+ protection worked wonders—I didn’t come home looking like a boiled lobster.The built-in hood and neck gaiter are genius. It kept my head, neck, and face protected without fogging up my sunglasses, thanks to the mesh breathing holes. I just went on a week long hiking trip in Mammoth Lakes, California. This was a fantastic shirt to wear for my hikes. It’s lightweight, durable, helped keep me cool in the hot sun, and on several of the hikes, I would wipe down the entire shirt, and wear it and it was like having instant air conditioning. I’m going to buy more of these and tell my friends about it. I especially like the hood and the mask that pulls up so you can cover your cheeks and nose if the sun is bearing down.

These shirts really work. My husband uses these for his job and they are durable, keep the sun damage away, and help keep him protected all day long. These shirts are durable and last a really long time. They fit great and they offer real sun protection.

Al principio yo estaba buscando mangas para cubrirme del sol.En pleno 2024 durante mi servicio militar solÃa llegar con quemaduras solares después de cada sesión.Decidà probar con esta playera y debo decir que proporciona protección casi total de la cintura para arriba.Cuenta con cuello que cubre hasta la mitad de la cara y todo el cuello y una capucha que cubre toda la nuca t parte de tu cabeza hasta la frente.No se siente acalorada, es muy ligera y transpira bien.Es un producto más caro que otros de su tipo pero estoy seguro de que se justifica y vale totalmente la pena.Protegerme de una quemadura solar vale más que eso $600 que pague.
