I thought these swim pants looked really cute in the listing, and I like the idea of being able to wear them long with a side slit at the bottom, or tied up.But these pants fit way larger than the size chart states, and the length is crazy long. I currently wear a size 16 with a 41" waist and a 50" hip, and I ordered the XXL according to the size chart. My parents were visiting when they arrived and I opened them, and everyone commented on the fact that they looked huge and long. To be fair, on the size chart it says that the length would fit a person who is 5ft 11" - 6ft 1", but how many women are this height?Today I had the opportunity to try them on (pictures included), and not only are they about 6" too long and dragging on the floor (I am 5ft 2"), but the pants in every way are unflattering, bulky, and large. The waist is loose, the legs are loose. But funny enough when I tied the bottoms, it was tight where I knotted like there was not enough fabric to tie and have them sit at my calves, though in truth the knotted pants came to my ankles anyway.They do have pockets, and I like the thin silky fabric which is great for beachwear or working out, but I won't be doing either of those things with these pants. I sew, and for fun, I might try to remake them into a style I can wear, but as they are they will not be going into my closet.
