I bought it to drink mate at the office. Did not use it yet, but it looks great, and comes all in a box, so it is good to give as a gift. Super speedy delivery. The mate is big, but you can fill it half way. Not sure about the cover for the mate, never needed one.

I got this set specifically for the spouted cap and silicone base for the cup and thermos. The bases are awesome. The spouted cap... was okay at first. But on using it for the first time I noticed it started leaking as I poured out of it. After that I did my best to just deal with that. But I took off the cap and looked to see if there was anything I could do to help it from the leak. I took it off and shook it a little in frustration. Water was inside the cap itself. The cap wasn't water tight and would eventually take in water and leech older water into my tea or whatever else. Also it'll end up as mildew or molding. I'm now using it's other lid that was included. It works perfectly fine now. I'd rather have that than the former. Does maintain temperature for quite a bit.

I bought this kit several months back. It’s a great starter kit and I love that I am able to sip on my mate on my way to work without worrying it will spill.However the lid started to crack right after I bought it. I was still able to keep it together without it falling apart, but recently a piece fell off. I have been trying to replace it for months by ordering many tumbler lids but nothing fits. I want to buy another kit in another color to alternate but the lid situation is the only thing keeping me from doing so. So while I love the kit and it’s great for travel, it would be great if the seller also made the actual lids available for purchase for those of us who need it.

I just love this mate set. I only bought it because of the thermos, because it was pink. But ended up using the whole set as my favourite. No spilling thanks to the lid with i never thought I would use.
