I have bought a few ball screws over the years and this one was the best packed I have ever received! The screw was wrapped lightly in bubble pack, then inserted into a strong cardboard tube so it couldn't be bent. That tube was then placed inside a long square box so it wouldn't roll around. The peripherals were wrapped and taped to the outside of the box.The screw and ball nut fit together well and the screw turns silently in the nut. I could only measure 0.0005" of backlash.The price was right, too.Recommended!

The product is well machined and high quality but it would be extremely helpful for the company to provide 3d part models of their products for various CAD softwares. I need to be able to have this part integrated into my solidworks model but have to entirely mock it up from scratch, which takes up what I feel to be unnecessary time spent.

One star for the customer service and the DSG12H Nut Housing.The threaded spindle, ball screw nut and bf/bk bearing blocks are all very good quality and seem to function as they should. Those items I would give 4-5 stars. That's the good.The customer service is what ticked me off. I used the "chat" app to explain the problem with the nut housing, which is; the 6, 4mmx12mm threaded holes in the nut housing are not tapped deep enough for the screws to tighten the housing to the ball screw nut. Some of the holes are only tapped about 1mm - 2mm deep. This is the answer I received:"Hello.Yes, our complimentary accessories are not able to tighten all the way in the nut housing, this is normal and will not affect the use."On what planet would that make any since? "...the accessories are not able to tighten all the way..., this is NORMAL, and will not AFFECT the use"!!! Really!!! That was either written by a very ignorant person, or it's just some AI generated nonsense. In either case it does not help me.So, I went to my local Ace Hardware and bought a M4 tap ($6) and corrected the problem myself.
