I was in need of an earring with a long post due to major swelling I had after getting my second ear lobe piercing. At first I was a little skeptical about getting something that wasn’t gold. But these worked out great didn’t irritate my ears. I made sure to get these because my ears were constantly swelling so I was happy I found one long enough to support the swelling. These did not irritate my ear at all. The weight was comfortable.

I had stopped wearing earrings several years ago. On special occasions, I’d always try to wear earrings but my ears would burn and itch and start hurting within minutes. Since I had this problem with my gold posts and surgical steel posts, I just assumed it was because my holes had started closing up.Last week I decided I wanted to start wearing earrings again. I happened across these earrings and thought I’d give them a try after reading a review that sounded like my situation. I have had them in for over 24 hours and I don’t even feel like I have earrings in! My ears aren’t red, they don’t itch, and I was even able to sleep with them in! I wish I had tried titanium posts sooner.

I was really skeptical at first with these as I’m really allergic to most things. I have reacted to even surgical steel before and I was nervous these would do the same. I’ll be completely honest, I’m allergic to white gold, rhodium, nickel, and most metals aside from yellow gold, sterling silver, titanium, platinum, and rose gold. I’m also sensitive to a lot of things and allergic to a lot of ingredients. I’m a walking reaction to be blunt. I had always wanted a second piercing and finally got one but all my jewelry reacted to the second hole aside from a couple. It was as if it never healed and it’s been two years since I got the piercing done! I went to a tattoo and piercing place as well so not Claire’s or Piercing Pagoda. I can only wear certain earrings in this piercing if I don’t: my earlobe swells up, I bleed, puss, pain, redness, crusts, even a weird smell, and overall just grossness. I even tried medical grade silicone ones just to keep my holes open and those caused a reaction to where my ears wouldn’t stop bleeding. Now, I have worn these since I got them. My earlobe is nice and normal sized, no blood, redness, puss or pain. I do have some little baby crusts, but no more than what you’d get from eye boogies from sleep. They aren’t even noticeable until showering or cleaning so no big reactions! Plus they are ridiculously comfortable and I can lay on them without pain. I also can sleep with them and no pain or anything! I’m so freaking pleased! I’m going to get a couple more pairs for traveling/working out/sleeping. I highly recommend these!

Nice earrings, came fast, love the look. BUT they were not long post at all, they didn't work for my large ear lobe daughter. But they are nice, just wish they were actually long post earrings 😑
