The is case is designed for a smaller viola. I checked the measurements of my instrument against the size of the case and thought it would fit, but the lower bout of my viola was too big and it was so tight that I had to return it. But then they charged me a $45 restocking fee! Unless you have a smaller viola, get a different case.
