Used minimally but I love them. Plastic is no good to cut on with sharp knives....it gets plastic into your food. Replacing all my kitchen plastic one piece at a time. Love bamboo. Easy to oil. Looks good. Great value. I bought a set to gift. Great weight. Great 3 sizes.

Excellent cutting board, especially for the price point. Its far more dense than expected (especially compared to other wooden cutting boards we have owned made of different woods), which means its easier to wash and less likely to hold bacteria. We liked this one so much we bought a 2nd one. Almost a bummer as I like to do wood working myself and there's no need for a cutting board project. Maybe another canoe? Now if I could only convince my wife to get rid of some of the plastic cutting boards we still have...

I am really pleased with these. I got rid of all my plastic boards. I see other reviewers mentioned cut marks. Well yeah! You are using a knife on wood/bamboo. Every cutting board surface will have these unless it's so hard it will destroy the edge on your knife. I would rather have a few of these fibers in my food than plastic bits.Some also mentioned separation. I am handwashing mine with a nice stiff dish brush and I hand dry good and put them in the microwave on high for a short time (10-20 seconds) until warm to finish the job. I am also using board oil and wax on a regular basis. I expect them to last a very long time as I already have had a very, very cheap small board for years that I took no special care with. I even put it in the dishwasher top rack. Being nicer to my more expensive set.

So far, we have enjoyed our bamboo cutting board sets. This is our first set of wooden cutting boards so while it has taken a little extra care and attention as opposed to just throwing it in the wash, it has not been as overwhelming as I previously thought it would be. The size variation is perfect for my different food prep needs, and while I haven't used them as presentation platters yet, I do like the versatility of being able to use both sides of the board. My only downside is that even with proper cleaning and oiling, I am getting splintering and fraying of the bamboo fibers that I have to remove occasionally.

These carbonized bamboo cutting boards are top quality! They are thick and sturdy and smooth. They have a hole in one corner so they can be hung, if desired. They arrived in a nice box with a ribbon around the box. It felt like Christmas! Inside was a very nice card with instructions and some sanding paper just in case it ever needs it. They are so smooth, though, I don't think I would ever need it, but it was very thoughtful of the company to include it. I am so impressed with everything, from the packaging to the product itself.

I ordered a couple different sets of bamboo cutting boards after hearing how dangerous the plastic/composite ones can be. They will both be useful for their intended purpose, but these are especially beautiful and the packaging made it gift ready, so next time I need a gift, this will be my go to!

Received these today and so far, upon initial unboxing, am impressed at the weight and quality. They were packaged very professionally, with a green ribbon around the box (sorry did not take image of the ribboned box), care instructions, about the boards, thank you card, etc. As you will see in the images, the front sides have the juice grooves which are nice and deep and the back sides of the large and medium boards have nice recessed slots for separating cut items from the rest of the board, or serving. Pretty cool! Can't wait to see how they hold up over time, but for now am very pleased. There was a slight smell of bamboo upon opening, but absolutely no chemical smell at all, which I was very pleased with. Hope this review helps someone looking for good boards at a reasonable price! I also like the bamboo is cross-laminated for a stronger board, which I believe will resist warping. I have had boards in the past that warped over time, so eager to see if these stay true to form!
