These bamboo wind chimes have a great sound to them. I had been wanting wooden wind chimes for quite some time and these do not disappoint. They recommend taking the chimes down during winter and keeping them out of the elements and I was good about that for the first year. However, after that I have left them hanging through every season and they've held up much better than I would have expected. They are still going strong after a few years, so I highly recommend them.

So we are very picky when it comes to these. We opened the box and out first reaction was very positive. This chimes looks stunning in person, so if that's what you want, purchase right away! In addition to the look, we also love the sound these make. We noticed right away the noise isn't as rich as our old one. We realized that the top didn't have a little cap on top (curved to amplify the sound) , which makes the sound richer. If you dont know what I mean, take a look at the design of others an you will see some have a little "topper". Not a big deal if you are just wanting a great looking chime. We returned for one that sounded a little better.
