These have been on my wishlist for some time now so when they came back in stock I ordered them immediately. While establishing milk production in the first few weeks of nursing a newborn, it can be difficult and at times very sore. These soothing therapy pillows are great and really easy to use. I'm not a fan of using these for a cooling effect, but that's simply because I don't like cold things touching me. I did try it, however, and it stays cool for a bit while in place. So if you're looking for cooling relief, these definitely do the job.I prefer to use them for a warming relief and to get my milk flowing. I put them in the microwave for about 2 minutes so they'd get nice and warm, and I have to say, it felt great when I put them in place. On one occasion I had just finished pumping and then used these for about 5-7 minutes. I went back to pumping right after and actually expressed an additional half an ounce. If you're a nursing mother, you know how valuable even an extra half an ounce can be. I was super excited about this. The warming effect must have opened up some clogged milk ducts or simply helped to get the milk flowing.The pillows are very large, a lot larger than I expected, but it's a good thing because they are kind of like one size fits all. I'm always around a C/D cup and the pillows do a nice job of completely covering everything, ensuring all or most milk ducts are affected. Since these can't be washed, to prevent leaking on the pillows I used the Bamboobies nursing pads that came with them, in between the pillow and my breast and didn't have a problem. When I'm not using the pillows I keep them stored in the plastic bag they were packaged in. I would hate for them to get dirty since they can't be washed.Overall, I would highly recommend these soothing therapy pillows. They've definitely helped me.

I almost didn't buy these because they were so expensive, but if you are looking for top-of-the-line hot/cold packs (I was willing to pay pretty much anything to resolve my clogged ducts ASAP) these are worth it. They are definitively better than others I've seen on the market. The material is super soft, and they are extra large to cover more of the breast. I also bought the "Gerber Breast Therapy Warm or Cool Relief 2 Reusable Packs" (also very highly rated), and these are infinitely nicer and softer. I can't compare to the Earth Mama Booby Tubes as I didn't buy those, but my guess is that these would retain heat/cold longer since they are a bit thicker.If you are dealing with the pain of engorgement or clogged ducts/mastitis, these are a totally worthwhile purchase!UPDATE 3/16: I recently pulled these out again for use with my second child, as I ran into the same clogged ducts issue again. I felt the telltale signs in the morning, and (as an experienced clogged ducts person) leapt into action (absolutely critical to minimize the damage). I nursed and pumped repeatedly, each time using this as a warm compress (microwaved for 30sec) for a few minutes beforehand to help with letdown, and also took a couple lecithin pills (Kellymom recommends 3 per day). I nursed in several different positions, including on all fours, with my affected boob dangling into baby's mouth (with her chin pointed toward the center of the hard tissue). I managed to resolve the issue within about 6 hours, which is pretty unheard of for me (before I knew all the action steps to take, these episodes often lasted a very painful 3-4 days). Who knows how much I can attribute to these pads specifically, but I'm pretty sure they played a role. Very happy I still have these!!

Wonderful for nursing moms to sooth sore breasts. I bought these shortly after my son was born. I was dealing with clogged ducts and these were so wonderful to have for easing the pain. Any mom that has breastfed knows that those first weeks can be trying as your milk comes in and your supply works to level out to match baby's need. They are nice and soft and heat easily in the microwave. They are a nice size, which is great if you are like me and have larger breasts. I do wish that you didn't have to worry about not getting them wet given that they are made for use on lactating breasts, but it isn't a deal breaker because they also come with a set of breast pads so you can place those between you and the pillows. I would absolutely buy these again and recommend them to nursing mothers.

Freaking love these things, perfect size, thickness and retains heat for a decent amount of time. I use one when I pump and the other as my newborn's pillow in her bassinet - she loves it and there's no way she could suffocate herself with it. Just don't be like my mom and try put it through the washing machine, lmao those flax seeds were cooked, fragrant and useless.These do not come with any kind of removable and washable cover, I recommend putting a thin washcloth between it and yourself to keep it from getting dirty. Did not think of this at first so mine already stink and have stains after a month of use. I'm going to keep using my remaining pad till it is too disgusting to use anymore (probably for a few more months) at which point I might buy replacements and find a mini cover because I like them so much.in short, prepare a makeshift, washable cover for these pads and it is perfect.

These are so therapeutic!!! I bought these because I was experiencing a lot of clogged ducts from exclusively pumping. The second I put these on, it was heaven. I think the weight of them also helps sooth tender breasts too. The weight ensures you're getting heat or cold on your breasts. Be sure to slowly heat them a bit to burn yourself. I really like how soft they are and that they come with nursing pads also.The only con is that the seeds move around in them. Just be sure to lean back and relax while using these.

These are just wonderful. I love the scent they have when warmed, and the material they're made with is sooo soft. They feel wonderful on my sore breasts (my milk is just coming in and I'm experiencing some engorgement) and I also love the set of breast pads that were included. What an excellent product. As a bonus, I've been warming one up to place on my newborn's chest during diaper changes as I feel the weight and the heat are calming for him. He was definitely significantly less fussy with this on his chest. Diaper changes are cold for babies! I also warmed one up and placed on his belly to help soothe him as he has been having some gas. So these are some lovely bonus uses for this product! Highly recommend.

I was very excited to receive these nursing pads yet have been disappointed with each use. Unfortunately, you have to keep them dry - this isn't always possible as many women leak (especially when the milk is coming in and this is a perfect time for when you may need these nursing pads). As it says on the instructions Do Not Wash - they are completely useless if you wash them.Unfortunately they can become very hot if you microwave them for too long and they lose their heat quickly. I would not recommend them, and would not buy them again.

These are actually great. I got these because my breasts always hurt during my cycle. And I was desperate to find some relief.These cover my whole breast. (Including the sides which is nice)Even without heating or cooling them, they are wonderfully comforting as they create a cushion around your nipple.They are super soft. They have a smooth velvet side and a soft Jersey side. I like the Jersey side because you get a bit more payoff for whichever temp you choose to make it.I really actually love these and I'm glad I splurged.
