I was in the middle of repairing the power cord on my grinder that got accidentally nicked one time I was cutting something with them. The grinder still worked, but was really intermittent in when it would work. When I went to install the power cord, I noticed that the original cord did not use standard fork terminals that are so common to me in my automotive repair background. So, bummer, I had to order these to make the repair and wait. However, once I got them, I immediately finished my repair and these worked great. The new power cord is hooked up just like the original and if you didn't know any better, you would never know it was replaced. The grinder works flawlessly now. These were a cost effective solution to a problem I encountered and saw no way to remedy other than just get the correct terminal. And now that I have 98 more of them, I have a good supply to make other repairs in the future. Right now, I know of at least one other power cord I have to replace on my DA polisher that got chewed up by some critter at some point and these will be used in that also. It's probably a good thing I have these because I tend to replace a lot of power cords in various things around my house due to a cable-hungry rabbit my daughter has that never seems to be locked up no matter how many times I tell her to do so. Some use a terminal like this, some use a different terminal and some don't use any at all. But it's good to know I have them now. 100% happy with these!

Functional. Not for high heat/ line voltage applications. Use good crimpers not the cheap automotive ones. Works fine for low voltage 12 volt systems. Worked well with 14 guage stranded wire.

They work, but the ends are hard to crimp and don't grip the wire very well.

I had a few old connectors where the fork would break after a few bends. This one has held up great. Doesn’t break after repeated bends and is very easy to crimp. I also enjoy the brighter color. Makes it easier to see in dark enclosures.

I used these for connections on a model train set. Easy to use and haven't given me any problems.

Crimp connectors are good quality but the fork blades are only 1.02 mm wide, measured with a caliper. Too thin for some applications and the blades bend easily when tightening. I have other brands that have 1.6 to 1.7 mm wide blades...those are more robust and carry more current.
