Perfectly happy with this. Two fan speeds, a flexible hose, not too noisy, bench size isn't an issue, so I'm keeping it.

The BAOSHIAHAN solder fume extractor does a decent job at clearing the air during soldering projects. The suction power is adequate for most tasks, and it's compact enough to fit on a workbench. While the filter could be a bit more efficient at capturing fine particles, it does noticeably improve the work environment. It's a good investment for anyone who spends a lot of time soldering.

The BAOSHIAHAN solder smoke fume extractor does not appear to actually filter smoke. I placed a particulate matter sensor near the exhaust of the extractor. Before soldering the level was

This thing just goes. Easy as can be. If you use alot of this cheap solder that has lots of nickel you should really invest. That stuff is really bad for you. Even as a jeweler we try to use nickel free solder but it is still all over out there. This is just a good thing to have if you care about your health and don't have a fume hood.

This fume extractor works pretty well. The gooseneck is easy to position to be mostly above the work area but not in the way of sight. The suction is strong enough to get pretty much all the smoke without being too loud. It is really nice not to have the smoke wandering into my face.

Comes with everything pictured, including ear plugs, which was strange to me. There are 3 speeds to the fan. Even at high speed, I wouldn't think you need the earplugs, but it does make some noise. Quality seems great. certainly does it's job.One thing I did notice which seems like a design flaw for something like this was that the fan blows down to the bottom of the unit, which then causes airflow away from the unit on the table it is siting on. So you get airlow blowing solder fumes away from the unit. Not too big a deal if you realize this and adjust the unit as needed. But I think it should be build to blow the are only away from the unit in one direction.
