In the past, I would use the traditional fabric style oven mits that were too short. They also ended up getting gross from not being able to clean them well. On the other hand, these waterproof gloves take baking to a new level. They are easy to clean, long enough to protect your arms, and durable with high heats. I love using them for baking all my sourdough loaves! Would recommend to anyone.

I use these gloves when I do Brew in a Bag home brewing when I have to handle the hot grain bag. They work very well and keep the heat away from my hands.

I was tired of always getting food spilled on my hot pads and having to wash them and also burning my forearms when taking things out of the oven. These gloves are fantastic and grip very well when grabbing hot dishes out of the oven. I haven’t noticed any heat while holding a hot pan from the oven for a prolonged time. My biggest concern was buying a one size fits all type of glove and having them be loose and cumbersome while trying to handle hot items from the oven. I ordered these in a size medium and they fit well and are not oversized and floppy. I have wide hands and short fingers for a female and the size was perfect.

All I have to say is I bought these gloves over a year and a half ago two pair look at them look closely I work in an industrial corporate side bakery producing tortillas 8 lines , heat ovens, 8 presses. Which Get up to 900°. These gloves protected our mixers hands from patching belts on the press And replacing Teflon belts for a year or a little over a pro lines 3 continuous shifts for over a year. they didn’t melt yet I admit there were some holes in them now a few here and there,, but it took a lot of heat these things I don’t want to see they’re indestructible, but they saved our butts more times and I can count ABSOLUTELY Buy these if you’re looking for gloves that can resist heat. These are amazing.!!!

Everybody’s got pot holders or oven gloves, but what if you want to handle a roasted turkey, chicken, or roast beef right from the oven? You can fight with a couple of forks or perhaps usetongs. I have dropped a chicken or two right off the grill. Three second rule anyone? No you want food grade heat resistant gloves. These are what you should be looking for. Food grade silicone and cloth lined gloves offer a sure grip every time. Heat resistant to over 400F makes for easy handling bread right from the oven.Easy to clean, just wash your hands it’s the gloves on. Water just rolls off, one swipe with a towel and their dry and the Silicone doesn’t retain odors. One caution however, the silicone is NOT cut resistant. I found that out the hard way, and while the lining seemed to protect my finger from getting cut, water now intrudes into the fingers. Now I’m ordering another pair and will use a fork to stabilize the meat while slicing. Too bad I can’t just buy either hand singly 🙁Get a pair

I got burned when hot water seeped through a hole in my glove. I had only used the glove fewer than 10 times. Today, I was soaking it in hot water to prepare for a barbecue, but my fingers felt too hot so I pulled it out. That's when I noticed there was a hole in it, and the hot water had gotten in and burned my hand

Got these for my wife for her sourdough baking. Good gloves but you can not hold on to real hot temps for very long.
