Let me start with what I like: The inside stepped design makes it easy to see the line you are trying to hit. Some etched lines on my other jiggers are hard to see in all but bright light. Here is where it goes downhill fast. The accuracy of all the measurements are way off. And easy to read means nothing if those readings are wrong! I measured this against 2 Japanese style jiggers and the well known OXO wide squat rubber handled model. Let me start by saying that all 3 of these other jiggers match in their measured amounts. I can pour 1.5 ounce in one and then pour from that into the other two and they all measure the same 1.5 ounce. If I then pour that same volume of water into this jigger it comes way below the stepped measurement line, as seen in the attached photos. Note that due to the lack of tint in the measured fluid it's hard to see in the picture that the OXO jigger is filled to the rim at the 1.5 ounce mark. Also the steel is much lighter gauge than my other jiggers. This product is a real disappointment from an otherwise good company.UPDATE:In hindsight I believe I judged this product too harshly in my initial assessment. Over time I’ve come to appreciate the clear markings and rimmed top of this jigger. It may not be perfectly accurate in measured volume but it is close enough for cocktails. I’m not measuring rocket fuel with it. As long as I am measuring all the cocktail ingredients with this jigger the build ratio will remain constant and any overall volume discrepancy is insignificant. Updating to 4 stars for a jigger I now use every day.

I was so tired of figuring out which side of my traditional jigger was how many ounces and having to look it up every time. Why does that other kind even exist? This one is perfect.

Looks great and the measurements are accurate, but the most important thing for me was the no-drip spout... now I can mix drinks without spilling one precious drop!
