This collar is absolutely trash! My dog barks, whines, and yips through it and it does NOTHING. The collar I used on my previous dog is no longer available so now I guess I will look for a different one and hope thag I get bigger results! I have tried adjusting EVERYTHING to get it to work and the beeps are few and far between when it does it again all.

My 40 lb fur baby (AussieDoodle) has never met a stranger. That is great until someone comes to the door--does not matter if she knows the person--she already loves them and thinks they are here to play.The problem is that her bark of "happy to see you" is so loud that it hurts your ears. This bark collar seemed to be just what I needed, but the directions are written in type so small that even with glasses, it is difficult to read. In addition, whoever wrote the instructions gave too much credit for the average Jane Doe to comprehend. The directions need to be written in simple Steps A B C D E, etc.I had the collar boxed and ready to return...then, someone came to the door and the sound from the boxed collar on the kitchen counter was loud!!! Now I know that somehow I set the collar for noise; do not want shock.I'm keeping this collar and will put on my very loud doggie when I know someone will be coming. The noise got her attention, even from the kitchen.

This started out great, and seemed to be very effective for our dog. Even if it was on the counter, the noise alert was enough to get her to stop barking - but there is one major problem... the unit completely stops working after maybe an hour or two.We first had the problem with charging that others reported - but then that problem went away and we finally got it fully charged. But then with the unit powered-on and set to a sensitivity of 4 (for example) it worked great at first - but after some time (1 hour, 2 hours?) it completely stops working - even though the blue light is still flashing indicating it's powered on.I discovered that when it's in this dormant state, I can tap the power button to get the screen to light up, and suddenly it works again.It's like it falls asleep after an hour or two - which makes it worthless.

We have it set to vibrate, shock, and noise at the highest level. Our dog barks through it and has found the right pitch to keep it from going off. The sensitivity is not great at all. We’ve tried adjusting the tightness, sensitivity, and settings. This collar was not a good fit for our dog at all.

It doesn’t work every time! It only works if one of us sneezes.Update: I know my last review may have sounded a little weird, but it was true. We figured out that you have to turn up the sensitivity in order for it to pick up the barks. We have it on 8 and now it catches every little bark, growl, sneeze & anything in between. Our dog has stopped the regular random barking.Changing my rating to a 4. I’m giving it a 4 because I wish the instructions would include this so myself and other buyers don’t have to go through trial and error. That can potentially cause people to waste their money buying a new one when this one is perfectly fine.

This collar works. It’s good for a temporary fix against barking. I wouldn’t leave this collar on unattended maybe a couple of days max then throw the whole collar away. My dog has an open wound due to the product I will not put it back around her neck. Now we have to see a Vet at 5pm Tomorrow. I will say this the unnecessary barking has seemed to stop but at an expense of my puppy being in PAIN and an expensive vet bill.

My dog has barked loudly for three years and only stopped when he dang felt like it. I’ve tried three other bark collars without success. This one worked in only one day and has continued to do wonderfully! Skinner is 3 years old, 24 pounds and now my perfect baby boy thanks to this collar!

The first one I received, didn't work at all. It would not hold a charge for more than 5 minutes, tester never worked. So, I was sent a replacement. Test failed on the replacement, but it is holding a charge and eventually makes a loud sound after several barks from my dog. I might return, and definitely will not buy again or recommend this to anyone.
