I purchased the BARKLESS Dog Muzzle hoping for a safe and secure option during grooming and training. While the online sizing guide was accurate, the muzzle itself is a huge letdown. My dog can easily remove it within minutes, completely defeating its purpose. The straps don’t hold well, and no matter how I adjust it, it just doesn't stay in place. I needed something reliable to prevent biting and chewing, but this muzzle simply doesn't work. I wouldn’t recommend it if you need a truly secure solution

After I got the tightness right it stays on great. Got a little chewed up from the first time not being quite the right tightness when I put it on but still works great. Bought a second one for our other dog to. Sturdy with a soft feel so it doesn’t seem to irritate the dogs face abrasivly. Great price for all it offers and the dogs can still open there jaw in it a little bit. I’ve had them where they could only really stick there tung out so this is a better design in my opinion

I love that this design has the curve around the eyes and was advertised as 1 3/4 inches instead of 2 inches even though it still says 5cm. I first bought a Baskerville advertised as 2in/5cm snout and it was way too big and bulky even after resizing, but this one is perfect my Pom. The only thing is that I wish it had a top strap or bigger loop on the bottom to attach a collar, and the plastic isn’t as thick as the other brand, but the good sizing makes up for that.

We both hate the fact that she has to wear one, but I thought this was the cutest. Customer Service seems nice, as well. They, also, guarantee one time replacement (which I love). It fits well, but she can take it off easily... I put it as tight as possible; but it doesn't matter, it still comes loose. It doesn't seem to hurt her, she just doesn't like it. I can easily slide it back on. It was easy to figure out.. This is my first, but it took me a little while. You can take it off with one hand, too. I use one to take off her leash and the other for that at the same time.

Got this for my 160 pound Cane Corso to be used during certain times/interactions with strangers (like the vet) or other situations just to be sure everyone is safe. It is effective and still allows him to breath just fine please remember to properly acquaint to a muzzle being used. Mine does not fight to get it off so the single strap behind the ears is more than effective.

I was a little apprehensive about this purchase - since I was really looking for something more in the "wire cage" look (you know, like on the original "Lady and the Tramp" cartoon). No, I don't have a vicious dog - just one that won't let a wound on her foot heal without constantly licking it. I had tried the "collar of shame" - both the plastic and the "soft" versions - she would pull those off within minutes. This muzzle really works well. She can drink AND EAT while wearing it (the eating part was a surprise to me, but she does a sideways move to force kibble between the openings in the muzzle). Very easy to size and adjust, and although she was able to get it off the first couple of tries, after some adjustment of the straps, it now stays on despite her constant attempts to pull it off... I've noticed that she still can partially get her tongue out to lick the wound, but with the muzzle on, she can't get the "collar of shame" off - so the combo of the two does the trick!

This did the trick, my girl is pretty comfortable wearing it. We struggled to find a suitable one as her snout length is a bit longer than the sizes associated with her circumference. By about 3/4â€. She’s a good fit to this one.
