Finally got my crossbow that I've wanted for years. This is necessary to prevent damage if you've cocked it and then new to relax it without firing a bolt. Works well, of course I had to test it.

Works great. I found if you put between your boots, pull with your hands as you push down with your feet it helps to reset in place.

The first time it was used the rubber stopper didn't move (wouldn't slide) so the arrow broke along with the string. Had to throw it away.

This is a fantastic product! I have used another one that had a solid metal stop which shattered my bolt after 5 uses. For the reviewer that taped and glued it to keep it in place, it is designed to slide slightly up the arrow shaft, to absorb the impact. It is also recommended that you shoot it at least 5-7 yards in front of you, into soft ground where possible. This is an great product if used properly. I highly recommend it!

Have used with my Barnett crossbow . Does stop bolt . The rubber stopper is sliding up the bolt . Tapped it down and used crazy glue to hold in place .
