I work at a music store and polish frets on 10-25 guitars per week. I've never tried erasers before and I'm kicking myself for wasting so much time with a dremel and polishing wheel. These take less than 5 minutes to polish all the frets on a guitar and it does a great job of it. I will be ordering more soon.

These erasers are great. I just used them on a fret level for nickel frets and made the job much easier on my hands than sandpaper. They came out like a mirror.But too really test these I just did a refret on my Kramer using stainless frets which normally really takes some work and about double the time with sandpaper compared to nickel. Using these really made stainless much easier to get s super mirror polish.Really kicking myself for not investing in these years ago.

Used this after i leveled the frets . it was easy to polish the fret bars with this product .

These 'tools' are just like whetstones for expensive cutlery. You need to start with the coarsest 'eraser' and work your way through the whole set up to the least aggressive grit (the higher number). I highly recommend taping off your fretboard. Use your spare-hand fingers to keep from overshooting the ends of the frets and marring the finish of your guitar. Use about 20 'light' strokes of the tip-end of each eraser and ensure you're dressing-up the sides of the fret during those strokes. This product is not a substitute for tools that level your frets by any means. They won't even polish out light pitting. If making a choice between these and a Dremel tool, remember that the Dremel tool can do a lot of irreversible damage in one moment of inattentiveness. My effort resulted in a tiny amount of eraser dust that brushed away with no effort at all. Totally pleased. Easy 5-Star rating.
