I tried this mold with plaster of Paris but did not get the results I wanted. For instance the two molds that have very fine detail will not come out of the mold without breaking. I finally tried some experimenting with sanding off the excess plaster with 60 grit sandpaper until I exposed the silicone mold. I then "painted" Crazy glue onto the backs of all the molded pieces with a toothpick (do not get the crazy glue on the mold; it is very difficult to remove. Allow the crazy glue to dry or use AFix to harden the glue instantly.VERY CAREFULLY flex the mold until the pieces begin to separate from the silicone. You may have to use a dental pick to tease the piece from the mold. The larger pieces came out fairly easy but a couple broke anyway. Once the pieces were out of the mold I sprayed them with a clear plastic lacquer. They are now ready for a coating of Rub'n'Buff gold paint. If anyone has luck with other media like a modeling clay, etc, please respond to this review.

so shallow that the clay breaks apart. I will try mold release spray and probably other options than clay. The detail is very good however

It was not made well. The mold was impossible to use! Most of the shapes had something wrong! To cheap and lightweight material.
