If you go to Barricades website, this is the same bull bar for the 2021 F150 (Lariat, 3.5L V6 Ecoboost) as well. It’s definitely sturdy. Installed by myself, took approximately an hour. Hardest part of installation is removing the tow hooks if you have them. The instructions aren’t amazing, but if you can build a Lego set and have a ratchet set it’s not hard to figure out. It’s a great bull bar, would definitely recommend if you’re wanting a basic bull bar. Comes with light brackets too if you choose to put off-road lights on it.***NOTE*** if you live in a two plate state, this doesn’t come with relocation brackets to mount the front license plate. I had a factory front license plate mount, this bull bar covered it up. I rigged it to the front of the truck where it was visible through the bull bar using zip ties. Can’t say I’d recommend doing that, but it works in the meantime.

I have had this exact same one before on my 2016 f-150 and it lasted for years with no rusting issues or problems, and by the time I sold the vehicle it had several dents on the front where it apparently saved my truck from inconsiderate drivers (if only they made these for the sides for door dings).I got a new one with my '21 f-150 and heard some reviewers saying you need to remove the bumper to get the tow hook boots off. I didn't need to do remove the bumper on the 2016 and didn't on the 2021. In both cases I was able to use the trick of grabbing the rubber boots with plyers (make sure the tabs in the back are released first, which you can do with your fingers), and pulling side to side to get it out from the front bumper. There are several videos online of this. It will look like it is absolutely not possible when you look at the bumper, but the rubber is very flexible and will bend to come out.After that, the removal of the hooks and install is very easy. I did it with a friend on the 2016, and solo on the 2021. The only really difficult part solo is the alignment since there are several bolts that control forward, back, up, down, etc. for each side. It took several attempts to get it "perfect" by myself. I found that putting some empty boxes under it to hold it up while I installed and tightened helped greatly.As a final note, this is decorative only! None of these bull bars in this price range are made to stop a real car accident. At most they will stop you from smacking your real bumper into something like a wall or will prevent damage from some inconsiderate driver backing into you in a spot at a slow speed. If you want to stop anything over 5 mph, you are going to need to replace the bumper with a fully reinforced one or get something much thicker than this. These are all thin, hollow metal that isn't much more durable than your car doors.

Took a few hours. Easy to understand instructions. Quality bull bar. Fitment was perfect. Looks beautiful as expected. Front end protection on my 2019 Shelby F150 truck.

I am a full time mechanic so I tend to be a little picky about the products I install on cars and truck. that being said the product was exactly as described. Fairly easy to install depending on model there were two rubber trim pieces around the tow hooks on the 2016 model that necessitate removing the bumper to get them out. bumper removal is a fairly easy process. My main issues are with fit and finish. The gmaw welds at bar joints were a little messy and there was weld spatter that was not ground off. Also I don't know how well the black paint is going to hold up over time. If I had known this was fairly thin paint I would have included either full paint to match or a single stage paint in my quote. But again I'm super picky and this over all was a good product and would buy again.

Not bad installation besides that it didn't seem to line up right where I wanted it to. Still got it centered but the brackets seemed to be in awkward almost lopsided positions. Definitely a two person job.
