If you read the description it indicates this particular light with a black finish has more of a Daylight, (blue ) spectrum than the white finish which has more of a ( red ) spectrum. I have both, so side by side I can see the difference. So the black finish is great for seedlings and the stretching issue. But don't just take my word, toggle between the 2 and look and the spectrum graph to make sure you get what you want.

I have a plant stand with 3 2ft’s. One of my corner cabinets light went out. I got two 1’ and now I have light but can also can put some plants there. Absolutely love these lights. They give you so many mounting options. Highly recommend

These are exactly what I needed I used for under lighting my fishtank so the base could house plants. Perfect set up and I love that it's buildable I can keep adding to it if I like

The Barrina T5 one foot grow light set attaches securely to magnetic surfaces. It can also be attached to wire shelving with the included zip ties and has a set of screws for a hard attachment to metal or wood. I needed to use this in a wrought iron, glass shelving unit. This is where I encountered some limitations on the installation. The connecting wire to run both units to power is only 19 inches, including both connectors which plug into the units. I could not place the lights on different shelves because the connecting cord was too short. Also the power cord, which there in only one, is 57" long, insufficient to reach the nearest outlet. As the description indicates , there is not a timer on the power cord.These grow lights would be best used in a linear placement, not on different shelves. They would work well on a plant stand rack, or wire shelving unit. Plan on needing an extension cord and possibly a smart switch or auxiliary timer to automate the light cycle. Also there is not a way to angle the light and they really need to be placed in the center of the plants pointing downward. Overall, I like the magnetic option but these are more limited in placement than any of my other grow lights.

Love these plant lights! My favorite part about this kit is that it comes with zip ties, hooks, and other options for installation. These have been the perfect addition to our little plant room and provides enough light for even some of our super high light preferring plants. The lights are about a foot long in length and the visible light extends out much further because it is so bright. These took me about 15 minutes to install and have held up so far for about 3 months.
