I was afraid I was blowing my money by buying an off brand canner. False alarm. This Barton is a workhorse and easy to use. Love everything about it and have zero regrets.

The Canner was okay to use.after I purchased a new pressure gauge. I like that it has two pressure weights as a safety measure there is an overflow valve too. The price was good for the size and function of pressure canner.

Less than a year after purchase and only using it once, it will not hold above 7 psi. Complete garbage and just a waste of money. While everything seems to be just fine, i fired it up and tried to can with it. Never could get the gauge to read 11 psi. Thought maybe it was the gauge. Put 2 more gauges on it and they both confirm that it never reaches the correct pressure before the weights start releasing pressure. It's a shame because it really seems to be a good canner with great features when looking at it. Save your money however. Came to review it, and saw many other reviews that all seem to indicate it's a problem product.

Dislike: Poor Instructions, no live body just a recording, the pressure gage does not face out to read while in operation.You have to turn the pot around to read gage while operating. The weights are not marked.Likes: Good price, well made,
