We are installing a tile backsplash using 3" x 6" tiles. We have encountered variations in other brands/type (Tavy) of spacers. These have allowed us to install the spacer to the full depth of the tile so the tapered edges of the glass tiles do not play a part in spacing. They also allow the vertical spacer to rest on the horizontal one when using a typical offset pattern, a span across the gap between tiles that allows the ends of the tiles to rest on either side. I also like the fact that the style makes it easy to view and align the edges of the tiles while the spacers are in.

Overall the spacers do what they're supposed to do. Thought they were a different style from the photos when I purchased them

I own a tile company and don't use spacers often. I found these through another tile layer and tried them out. They are so far the most reliable spacers I have used.
