I bought my first pair at a garden show 30+ years ago! They are awesome, I never feel rocks, wood or anything under my knees. The straps lasted at least 15 years without replacing. They are comfortable, they can be slippery in the MUD, but not surprising. They are adjustable and can be worn by everyone in my household so I bought a second pair so we don’t have to share! They look great and clean up with soap and water!

My favorite of all the knee pads I have used! As a carpenter & gardener, I used to go through a lot of knee pads. These last for a long time, they are good strong comfortable protection, and THEY STAY UP. They don't pinch. The ones with velcro straps stop working when the velcro gets clogged, and the ones with elastic straps start falling down when the elastic gets stretched. These have rubber straps with lots of holes so I can make them comfortable no matter whether I am wearing just jeans or (in winter) longjohns, lined work pants and rain-gear overalls too. Also, you can get replacement parts, both packages of straps & buttons. Nothing lasts forever, but I value that I can fix what needs fixing instead of having to go buy a whole new set of kneepads when I lose a button or a strap.Definitely 5 stars!

Firstly, these are very comfortable, and though the elastic takes some getting used to the first couple days, I quickly broke mine in. It's the best set of kneepads I have ever worn. I wear these about 15/24 hours of each of my days. I put them on before breakfast, and don't take them off until right before dinner. During the days I don't even notice them over my pant knees.I have modified mine by removing the top 2 ridges and buttons, so that it doesn't eat into my thigh as much. Very comfortable this way, and still stays on my leg without any problems, ever. Plus this gives you a replacement elastic strap and buttons for when the bottom ones wear out. I would buy 5 more pairs and give them away to my co workers, because they will absolutely save your knees. Far better than any gel sort of solution, because these will last ten times as long.

Bought these for work. I work doing stock at a local supermarket and find the tile floors and my knees do not get along. I had a cheap set of knee pads, but they were terrible. After reading the reviews I ordered these. They are fantastic. I put them on when I clock in and leave them there. (Not anymore I don't.)The only con to them, they get HOT. Take them off a t lunch and you can actually see the moisture built up in them. Your knees sweat. But they protect your knees, which is why I got them.5/17/15 Update: Hot? Yes indeed. The moisture literally builds up in them. In my job I need to be able to wear them except maybe at lunch. They are great knee pads but just way too hot for my needs. I'll keep them as back ups and for other projects, but have to find something better. If Barwalt found a way to vent the outer shell that would be great.Upside? If you need to replace the buttons, straps or inside padding you can. Beats buying a whole new set.

The ones in the ad are made of rubber inside and out and the straps are elastic. What arrived to me was something with the interior made of cheap foam and the straps made of hard rubber that doesn’t stretch. they are advertising something false.

Use this knee pads every day at work, very comfortable and durable. Last pair lasted three years. The best knee pads you can get, will not slide down your legs, don't have to adjust them every five minets, they will just stay in place!!!
