I bought my 9 year old daughter a L to help with ninja course blisters. They are a tight fit and I should have sized up, but she was so happy with them and didn’t want to wait for another pair. They are nice quality and padded in all the right places with finger holes that aren’t gaping (like other brands we tried). The loops to help pull them off didn’t last long, hence losing a start. She would also prefer a solid color/non-juvenile option.

Ordered these for my 9 year old granddaughter for Christmas. She got a gymnastic bar set for her birthday in September and her hands would either got sweaty when using it or, I noticed, calloused and rough. She opened these and, seeing the unicorns, thought it was a package of masks (sad mindset of our children in 2020 isn't it?) but when told to look closer she was skeptical as to what they were for. Once she realized she ran to her room and tried them out. She loved them. She said her hands don't slip or get sweaty and the grip of the gloves gave her more confidence on the bars. For the price, and excellent choice for any kid needing to 'get a grip'!

Bought this for my skinny nine-year-old daughter size XL she said they’re too tight. So will be returning them and they don’t offer a bigger size. Bummer

Easy on and off, great fit. We did get them for my daughter for monkey bar callouses, but they slipped a lot. She’s decided to just let her hands toughen up and use these for fun when she rides her scooter 😊

I should’ve listened to the many other reviews about how these are slippery and don’t allow your child to actually grip the monkey bars. Like other parents, I was trying to keep my daughter from continually getting bad blisters. Bought these and my daughter kept slipping off the monkey bars. It’s a shame because the price is right and the design is cute, but if it doesn’t meet the intended purpose, it’s completely useless.
