i have the unfortunate luck of being in an AFO for a while (ankle foot orthotic) from a terrible accident. i will be in it for about 6 months to a year. i am a big "heel" person and unable to wear those too! i am not a fan of flats or sneakers and was on the hunt for some shoes to wear with jeans or dress pants that would appear "fancier". these are them! they are shiny, comfy and cool! also have a great tread so they are keeping my safe since i am still on crutches for a while. thank you Bates!

Been using these for 2 months. I always get compliments on the shine and they look good still. Breaking in process wasnt too bad. Little sore but no blisters. I have a normal foot. No extra high arch, not super flat or extra wide or anything. I am a true 9.5 and can wear a 10 if i have to. I purchased these in a 9.5 and they fit like a 10. Roomy but doable. Comfortable and durable. Non slips. Good for restaurants, but you’ll still slide in grease like many non slips. I will purchase these again. Most non slips are ugly or uncomfortable or both. Happy with my purchase.

Love wearing oxfords and think they are the best shoe to wear for my type job. These were the most comfortable and do not feel tired at the end of the day. Will be ordering another pair. Stood in them for more than 6 hrs and I was fine. Recommend them

As active military, I honestly never thought I'd ever say I actually LIKE a pair of Bates shoes. They're softer than I've ever walked in for oxfords (with no additional inserts) and actually look REALLY good for dress shoes. Best parts? These look better, feel much better, and cost 1/3rd less than than that crap sold at the Exchange. Sold.

Thisproduct was used for my job. my first impression of the shoes were they’re beautiful but the first day that I wore them to work I noticed two creases starting to form and I asked myself how long are these shoes going to last their brand new so I had major concerns with that and I’ve worn them twice and they’re getting worse. I’m not pleased with the outcome and I keep telling myself what maybe they’ll just loosen up. maybe it’s because they’re new but I think the material is too hard. It’s not softening up is causing a crease which looks like the shoe won’t last very long. .
