My black metal sink drain fixture began to flake the black coating off. This replacement product is a well-engineered plastic fixture with an easy-to-use pop-up drain cap. The plastic is a thick gauge material. The fixture comes with two heavy rubber sealing gaskets -- one for the sink bowl side and the other for the bottom of the fixture neck. So, no plumber's putty is needed upon installation. When I inserted the fixture into the bowl, I simply screwed the bottom gasket into place by hand (as the large nut is designed for installation without the need for a wrench). No leaks, looks great, and functions with ease.I bought two (for a double sink vanity) and installed each one quite easily. I am very pleased with this product. Isn't it great when things just work as advertised!?!

Looks great (it is just plastic, but matched it to a black faucet), worked great. The pop up works perfectly and the mechanism feels solid. The fit was great, plenty of drain pipe which I had to cut to fit the plumbing underneath, which is great. Has a silicone ring seal to prevent leaks, easy installation. I couldn’t be happier!

Bought these to replace a well know brand ones i had, the old ones were metalish and stained within half a year (we have really high chlorine in our water). These were super easy to install.Pro:- great look and great feel once installed- drain well and fast, haven't clogged once- cheapcons:- when holding they feel really plasticy (feeeling goes away once installed)

I am disappointed with the Hurran Matte Black Bathroom Sink Drain. While the design is sleek and the matte black finish adds a stylish touch to my bathroom, the performance of this drain falls short of expectations.Firstly, installation was challenging and time-consuming. The drain did not fit properly with my bathroom sink, resulting in leaks and difficulty securing it in place. Despite following the instructions carefully, I encountered issues with the seal and had to resort to using additional sealant to prevent leaks.Once installed, I found that the draining mechanism was not as efficient as advertised. The pop-up feature frequently gets stuck, resulting in slow drainage and water pooling in the sink. Additionally, the hair catcher anti-clog strainer does not effectively prevent clogs, requiring frequent cleaning and maintenance.I also noticed that the plastic construction of the drain feels flimsy and cheap. Given the price point of this product, I expected better quality materials that would withstand regular use without deteriorating over time.Overall, while the Hurran Matte Black Bathroom Sink Drain looks attractive, its performance leaves much to be desired. The challenging installation process, inefficient drainage, and poor quality materials make it difficult to recommend this product. For these reasons, I would rate it a two out of five stars.

Having recently installed my first bathroom faucet and, realizing I hadn’t considered that the new faucet didn’t have a push rod to open/close the drain I learned about pop-up drains so came to Amazon to see what I could find and, based on the budget friendly price and, of course the good reviews I decided on this one. It took way longer to remove the old drain system and, then clean up the crud that I discovered in the drain opening and, overflow space. Once, I was satisfied it was all cleaned up/cleared it only took a matter of a few minutes and, my new pop-up drain was installed.Even though installation was so simplistic and, everything worked as it should ie: when the stopper was up the sink drained quickly and, when I pushed the stopper down the water didn’t drain I initially had a concern when unlike the old push rod type drain stopper when the drain stopper was pushed down/closed there was a slight gap and, stopper didn’t sit flush to the bottoms sink basin so I reached out to the seller who was very helpful and, prompt in getting back to me to let me know that the design or mechanism for the pop-up drain this was normal and, that as long as I had no leaks under the sink the install was correctly done.I know from the reviews that others had concerns about this so I just wanted to add that I also happened to mention my new pop-up drain with a friend who I knew had her bathroom faucet and, pop-up drain installed by a plumber when she moved into her place and, she told me hers is the same way.My feedback to the seller is that my personal preference for esthetics would be instead of the upper gasket being black that it was a matching colour ie: brushed nickel, chrome, etc and, was thanked for my feedback and, advised that it would be passed along for consideration.Would I recommend this product? - Yes

I really love this drain! We bought it because the existing drain we had was leaking and the plug mechanism (it was a latch or pull thing lol) had broken in the back so the drain was open. Worried about dropping something in by mistake we saw this new drain and the brushed gold/brass matched our new theme. I can’t believe how easy it was to install, note you will need channel lock pliers or something similar, but that’s it. The popup drain system is so much simpler and more elegant than what we had, and the finish looks amazing. 5/5 really happy with this!
