I was hesitant to buy this pump because of the low price and sketchy specs. This is a great little pump! I use it to pump water from my rain barrels to irrigate my lawn. The pressure is good using a 75 ft flex hose. Battery lasts me about 4 waterings at 15-20 min. Pump works with my Makita battery as stated but battery doesn't work with my Makita tools?? Pump is not very noisy with low humming sound. Turns off automatically when barrel empties or sprayer is off. Very light and compact. I used my own quick release hose connector. Leaks a little but not too bad.

Fills a 5 gallon bucket quickly. Throws well from a lawn sprinkler.

I am using this as a pump to rin my fish cleaning table while out camping. Works very well giving everyone a spot to wash dishes and hands while out in the middle of nowhere.

Living in Florida where there can be extended power outages after Hurricanes, and the fact I have an electric well pump for water supply, I was needing a portable pump to transfer water from rain barrels to use for toilets, showering, watering plants, etc. I received it just in time as shortly after we had 2 major hurricanes with wide spread and extended power outages.When received, the battery was only about 80% charged so I topped it off to 100%. It did take a little while to charge with the provided charging cord. If you use Makita battery tools and have a Makita fast charger, I'm sure it would charge much faster, but unfortunately, I only have Dewalt & Milwaukee tools so I wasn't able to test it. Once you install the battery there is a splash cover that folds down over the battery which will help prevent getting water into the battery connections. The plastic case does seem a little thin & flimsy but should be sufficient. I like the fact that the hose connectors on the pump are brass which suggests the internals are likely better quality than the case, although I didn't disassemble to verify. Unfortunately, the hose connector on the inlet hose is plastic, but would be easy to upgrade to a brass fitting. The provided 10' inlet hose with strainer was a perfect length for placing in the rain barrels. I used a 50' garden hose as the outlet hose with the regular female hose connector rather than the provided quick connects and it worked fine. I did put a little vaseline on the threads to allow for better tightening and a better seal against the rubber washer. I was pleasantly surprised at the pressure this pump puts out and it would work good with a longer hose.I'm only giving it 4-stars because of the flimsy plastic case and the fact that the ad is somewhat confusing. The ad shows a picture of a 20v battery, while the battery provided is a 18v battery, but the pump itself will accept a 18v or 20v battery. While they are the same, the ad lists a 5.2Ah battery, but the battery is marked 5200 maH. The ad shows a picture of a garden hose sprayer which suggests it is included but it isn't (they should add a statement to the picture that indicates it is not included).All in all, I'm glad I purchased the pump as it will have a lot of other uses as well.

Used it to pump water out of a rain barrel. I had high expectation as it advertised it being high power but really i could only get the water out not powerful enough for me to pump 20 ft to the garden. Keep in mind of your realistic expectation but being it is cordless it was convenient to pull out.

This can move a lot of water for just being battery powered.It also seems to be fairly well thought through. It comes with just normal hose connections out the sides, so for both input and output you can use whatever.However, it also includes 2 quick disconnects (one already attached to a length of tubing) so that you can use quick disconnect hoses (one input hose already made and functioning, you'd have to attach a length of hose for the output, but the coupling is there).This really gives it a lot of utility just with a little bit of forethought and a couple simple couplings provided.
