Bought one for my classic car, and keep it tending the battery all winter long. Works great, easy to use, and no buttons to press. If its not on correctly it lets you know. Had to buy a second one for the motorcycle battery.

Simple and straight forward and actually worked ;). A harsh winter and a car not driven frequently, this compact and durable charger quickly brought the battery charge up to "go" overnight. Excellent value for money and a must have. Will definitely use it to maintain a charge over winter dips going forward.

Put on my 2008 Harley-Davidson and it worked great thru winter. It kept my batter charged and good shape. I like the way once installed you just plug it in and I do not have to take seat and all off.

Great charger/maintainer does exactly what I needed, I would have given it 5 stars if it had not taken so long to charge. I wish I had known when I bought it that 1.25 amp charger will take 10 hours to charge 15 amp battery to charge to 80%. I would have bought a more powerful unit. But it's a great and safe product.

This thing worked great for 10 years ago. Revived many dead pc-680 batteries that wouldn't revive on other chargers. For todays standard, I dont know.

For our 2024 Toyota Prius Prime, I needed a very slow charger that was easy to attach and dis-attach. After a month, it appears the Battery Tender Plus 12V 1.25 AMP Car & Motorcycle Battery Charger is the right device. Rather than the alligator clips, I attached the provided o-ring connectors permanently to my 12v battery. The Charger can then be easily connected/disconnected (with the car's rear hatch open), without uncovering the battery itself. What prompted this purchase was that we left the car (which we had bought new 4 months earlier) in the garage for 3 weeks during an overseas trip; the 12v battery was dead upon return and required a jump. Our daily driving is only about 40 minutes, and 3 weeks later the battery died again. After it was towed to the Toyota dealer, after a day of analysis they finally replaced the 12v battery. Afterwards I did my own research and obtained this device. SIMPLE, EFFECTIVE, and BRINGS PEACE-OF-MIND. I plug the device in if the car is to be left parked in the garage for more than a week without driving; I also plug it in at least once a week when it is being driven short daily distances. NOTE that it is best to have a garage in order to use this device as your car rear hatch will need to be unsecured during use, or you'll need to find a creative way to run the wire through a window. Alternatively, one could attach the charger to the courtesy connection points under the front hood. I'll update this review if my experience changes over the next few months.

Fácil de instalar, mi motocicleta ya contaba con la conexión asi que me tomo 10 segundos conectarlo y solo se conecta a la luz y listo, después de 1 mes conectada encendió a la primera.

This is an excellent device for people that do not drive frequently and their vehicles are parked for long periods of time, especially in very cold climates. I have my battery tender plugged in my garage with the quick disconnect attached to the battery posts which simplifies hooking it back up when returning home. I love this device and feel it is completely safe to leave plugged in. Apparently, I heard that trickle chargers eventually will drain the life of your battery, but the trickle charger will not. Hope this helps.

This Battery Tender does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I got the plus because some of the smaller models are now made in China. This one is still made in the USA. My bike sat all winter in a Canadian garage (Ice Cold Beers - No fridge required) with the battery still in. I was fearful that I would need a new battery. Tried starting this spring and of course it was dead. Hooked up the battery tender in the evening and the next morning she fired up on the first try! Surprisingly it actually started faster than usual. Great product!!!

This battery tender is very easy to use and hook up. LED lights tell you what is going on and also let's you know if it's not hooked up correctly. My second Battery Tender purchase and would buy again.
