changed my review to 5 stars, this throttle body works great definitely can tell a difference and only issue I had was that my cruise control cable was a tid bit too short and was giving it a very high rpm, I never use cruise control and after disconnecting it it worked perfect little adjusting to the adjustment pin which was no big deal but love this product and the sound it gives my truck

Very easy to install only issue was a high idle but after some adjustments on the throttle cable fixed it right up. My application is a 2001 Ford F-150 5.4 Triton V8 2V.

Casting defect per BBK Tech Support opinion. Easy install, but idled very high and not safe to drive. Hoping the replacement will be manufactured correctly.

I installed this on a 1995 Lincoln towncar with the 4.6 engine. I had to modify the intake tube and other components to get it to work, but the end result was a noticable pickup in power at low RPM, and it eliminated my sticking throttle issues.

I felt its a little pricey, but quality wise it is second to none. And it installs very easy.Combined with a true cold air intake, I can feel the difference.

The BBK throttle body was direct fit at half the price, I did not upgrade air intake or exhaust so no real power increase. But it did what it said it would do and that was fit on my truck.

If you bought a after market cold air intake, well go a little further and get a Power-flo MAF by "Jet", and if you gone this far, why not go all the way with a "BBK" after market throttle body. I did, and now I can hear a ton of air sucking down the intake. Got more ponies too. Solid and well constructed. Looks nice under the hood too.

I installed this TB on my 98 Expedition 4.6L hoping to pick up a little bit more power and mileage. It is a good quality piece, but I haven't noticed much difference from my stock TB. The stock one is about 68mm. I did the Gott's mod to my air intake and installed a K&N filter to take advantage of the larger diameter. I think I may have picked up about a 1/2 a mile per gallon increase.
