its easy until something goes wrong. got the unit installed correctly. but why cant i get the one clip installed? then when i thought i had it, the window would not go up all the way. im no slouch, but the gremlins really got me. was ready to take it out and start over, when i realized the one side of the glass closest to the side mirror was not in the window slot but riding outside the slot. BAD GREMLINS. in the slot, clips on., works perfectly.

This is better constructed than the Jeep OEM device. Took just a few minutes to install, meaning less than 30 minutes.Works good, smooth and quite.

The rear window in my son's jeep failed and we needed a replacement quickly as the glass kept slipping down. Found this one on Amazon and they were able to deliver by the next day. Part arrived in time to install that same day and there was an instruction card, with photos, included.I had watched a couple of youtube videos before beginning, but having the card out with me during the process was oh so helpful. It's the first time I've seen that with replacement auto parts and it was so nice to have. We are pretty handy DIY people, but not mechanics by any stretch. It took about an hour to replace and it works GREAT!

Motor Gabe out 8 months later. Now I will need to do the difficult job of doing it again or getting a shop to do it. Or maybe I’ll just let it stay the way it is.

The original part is a bad design. It is a long tube of cable that the motor gear teeth twist. The window connector also has teeth that hold this cable. Those teeth wore out on my original. This kit is a lot more compact and uses wire cable feeding top and bottom to positively adjust the up and down movement. Being compact it is a lot easier to maneuver into position and fit perfectly in the factory holes. This is a great improvement and highly recommended.

This was easy to install after raising it to mid level by bumping the motor before hand (It came in the lowered position). The only drawback, that doesn't really matter to me, is that the motor is a little smaller/weaker than the original. Little slower going up than down, but hey, it goes up just fine.

Perfect fit, sturdy, comparable with original part, time will tell how great the quality is, 2 months in and daily use of windows it is very good
