I personally got these to store game pieces but they would be great for all sorts of things. I would not keep the inner cases somewhere loose, I would keep them inside the big container when not in use, because the latches on the inner containers aren't super strong and could pop open if the case was knocked just right. Personally, I'm glad they open pretty easy so things don't fling everywhere when they are opened. These would be great for beads, small gemstones, diamond art, screws or other hardware as long as they aren't too long, and so much more.I got these specifically to store game pieces for Wingspan and Wyrmspan. I had been using a Plano box and it was such a pain to get the pieces out even if it made them organized very well. These work really great for those games. I was able to fit all the Wyrmspan, Wingspan with all currently released expansions, and a package of speckled eggs in the 2-pack of cases and still have a few empty parts left. Each player counter color has it's own box, each color of egg has it's own box, each food type has it's own box, and some boxes for other random things like the 2x and 5x coins, and the yin-yang pieces. The only things I had trouble fitting, I had to split the nectar food tokens to two tiny boxes, and red unspeckled eggs to two tiny boxes because for some reason there are a lot more of those than the others. The food tokens and coins have to be stacked just right for some of them to all fit in one tiny box while others can be tossed in and fit easily. If the tiny boxes were just 1-2mm taller they would fit those coins and food tokens a bit easier.

This is a fantastic storage system for small crafting supplies, or other household items. The cases are easy to open, but latch securely so there is no fear of spilling. Or of breaking part of it when trying to get it open. They are sturdy too. I dropped a full one into tile, and it didn’t crack or break.I initially used this to store 1 x 2 inch decoupage paper. I liked it so much I immediately ordered more to use for some other items. I highly recommend these!

This box is perfect for coordinating the beads that I use for my artwork and I am so happy I purchased this because it was worth every penny and then some. I am thrilled that I got this as such a great price and it is so convenient.

I absolutely live the bead organizer. The small container fit one shank of beads and is very easy to mark and see the beads from the out side of the cases. Would different be ne purchasing more when needed.
