This is exactly as described. The "balls" does fit into existing fan chain clasps just fine. I cut length with a wire cutter.I didn't need to use the clasp connections as I was connecting the fan chain to the light chain. This allows the chain to hang without the need for the weighted chain ends. I was worried about the chrome finish matching with my satin nickel finish fan/room. But it isn't even noticeable.

Although the beads are larger, they do click in and work with the smaller standard size. The problem is that if you are adding to an existing beaded line, these beads will look clearly bigger and different. People will notice the difference. Mine are going into a closet so I don't care too much about the size difference. They should inform us that they are not the standard size.

I only needed 3 feet for a light switch in my basement. Easy to cut with a pliers and easy to install. 20 feet of chain is a bargain and I am sure I will soon find a use for the remaining 17 feet !

Loved this package. Was able to extend the chains of multiple ceiling fans in our rental unit. So easy and lots of chain and so inexpensive. Cannot buy this in any store for even near a similar price.

Lots of chaining and connectors. Well made and strong. We used it for making long ceiling light/fan pulls. Recommend buying....

The ceiling fan in the bedroom had short pulls. These extensions are great for a short person to reach. These make it so much easier for me. They are easy to attach.
