I have ordered a few from Home Deport that came damaged or did not fit. Even though my first order came broken, this one I received it in good shave; it fit as a glove and remains secure. I am glad that I found something that was plastic because the one that was broken was glass and frightened me because I have a toddler, so it could have been a very dangerous situation. For people who have kids and want safety, you can not go wrong here! The pricing is fair, but knowing that it is plastic, the price should be lower. I do not like the sticker that they put on the lens; it left a smudge that is not easy to remove. The sticker should be on the wrapping, not on the lens!

I am very disappointed with this. I did buy two of these. The one that is my my front door has melted to the 60 watt bug bulb. The other one is fine (so far) it has a LED bulb that must not get as hot.

It is ok for the price but doesn’t replace a glass one, doesn’t have the same level of transparency.

We needed a clear globe for our fan light. We had ordered one but it had too much of a tint to it and had to send it back. This one is great. It is good and clear like we wanted. Perfect!
