This cocking sled is aluminum and therefore certainly stronger than the typical plastic ones that come with most crossbows. It has two interchangeable size plates that you can easily install to accommodate rails of various width. HOWEVER I own a BEAR FISIX and with the proper (narrowest) adapter plate installed onto the sled the sled becomes too thick to slide into the opening of the latch. In other words the sled will get stuck before the string makes it all the way back to hook onto the latch. If you are handy like me, you can work around this by cutting out the center of the adapter and only using the outer edges of the narrowest adapter plate, and gluing them onto the sled to reduce the width to fit the rail without increasing the thickness of the sled. Hopefully all of that makes sense.With some ingenuity I got it to work just fine. But I am fairly certain that most people will not want to make an afternoon project out of getting the sled to fit their Fisix Crossbow. I don't know if the thickness problem will occur with other models or not. But be aware of this if you are buying it for a BEAR FISIX Crossbow.Otherwise, it seems to be a well-made cocking sled, certainly stronger than the original plastic type.

Works like it is supposed to, but should have been replaced free from Bear archery for the junk one that came with the crossbow!
