As someone who has had a passion for all kinds of drum playing (Djembe, Conga, Bongo, Taiko drumming and other systems) I recently took a short course on using the African Talking Drum. Since I needed a special drum stick to properly use the talking drum I searched and found one (Beater for African Talking Drum) on Amazon for a fair price ($10.95 plus tax etc.)This handmade talking drum beater worked great in my practice sessions and I am very happy with my purchase. This is clearly hand carved and well made. It has a nice flex to the head from the arm, and though it did require a little bit of sanding to make it perfect. It arrived very well prepared and more importantly, it is an authentic African beater. A little bit of 120 grit has turned this into the perfect beater. If you're okay with a couple minutes of sanding, this is an awesome product.

Although the talking drum is itself a primative percussion instrument, and its beater is similarly so, this beater is, to put it politely, crude. There are better beaters on the market, so shop around.

Total enttäuscht. Keine Ahnung woher dieses abgebildete Amazon Foto her ist. Das zugesendete Objekt ist Lichtjahre davon entfernt. Das ist afrikanischer Müll bestehend aus Klebestreifen und Holzresten. Schicke ich wieder zurück..
